We had a blast at this lake house. The house itself had everything we needed (and then some) and really felt like a home away from home. The rooms were spacious, the fireplace was cozy and the kitchen was fully stocked. The basement was the perfect place for the kids to call their own and play games, watch movies, etc. The property is incredible. A nice little cove on the water. Can't wait to get back there during the summer to enjoy the lakehouse and all of the parks and trails nearby. It's a great place to get away and spend time outdoors.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We try to vacation with our extended family (3 brothers and their families) every year at Lake Hartwell. This lakehouse has a good layout for larger groups with teenagers. The basement game room is a great hangout for the teenage boys; plenty of movies, games, and a seperate entrance. The dock is in a quiet cove, plenty of safe swimming and fishing. The paddle boat was an extra bonus. The walk down to the dock is a gentle slop, with a few wooded stairs. This made the dock easily accessible for the older folks in our family. We throughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house and would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely lake house. The place was very comfortable and a great place for the kids an grandkids. The owners of this lake house have everything you need for a great vacation the only thing to bring is your food. The family loved the dock and spent most of the time on it, fishing and swimming. It was the perfect place for our family's time together. We came from three different states and met here which was a great location for all of us. We would love to do this again next year...thanks for everything!!!!

This lake house is well equiped and the location is perfect. The home has games, water toys and appropriate kitchen and cooking tools for outside grilling. We rented strictly from the internet and the pictures helped us make a positive decision. The home was clean overall....noticed that the floors weren't super clean, but acceptable. The owner provided soap, laundry detergent and other cleaning supplies as well as ample towels. We live in Atlanta, so we brought our own supplies, but they were not necessary. Air conditioning worked perfectly as it was "hot" that week. The only suggestion would be to have access to the downstairs play area from the upstairs rather than having to go outside to access. The owner was very responsive during our preparation for the visit and we would definitely consider renting again!

Our family had a fantastic time, and many lifetime memories were created. The house is very nice, and in a great location on the lake. Based on the owner's suggestion we rented a boat from Gordon's Marina and one of my children learned to ski. If anyone is vacationing at Lake Hartwell this is the perfect house to rent.

The house is great. We were really comfortable there and it had everything to accomidate the kids. The pedal boat was also great and as was the fishing dock. Gordons marina was not far from the house so we rented a pontoon boat and parked it at the dock when we were ready to eat lunch. the kids loved the basement it was awesome. We had one of the greatest times ever there. We will definitely rent from you in the future and thank you very much.

Dear Dubin Family, We had a great time here at your home.. The cove was peaceful, the waterwas deep and beautiful! The rafts, tubes and noodels were fun! We had a great time at the lake house. Everything we needed was available. We rented a pontoon boat from Gordon's Marina. We all enjoyed "tubing" on the lake". Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The house is roomy and very clean. We grilled out almost every night. The fire pit was alot of fun to sit around at night and relax. I would recommend this house to anyone interested. Jacob is very easy to work with and very accomodating.

We had a wonderful experience in Georgia. Your lodge is very comfortable, it makes for a great base for touring around. It is also nice for just sitting and relaxing. We spent a very relaxing Thanksgiving at this wonderful lake property. The kids had a blast with the pedal boat and recreation room with enough to keep them all occupied. The house and location were perfect. A wakeboarder or wakeskaters paradise. Perfect water was minutes away. The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and great dock area. The owners have done everyhting to make your stay a great as possible.

Our Family had a fantastic vacation at the Lake. The house was clean and comfortable. The owners have taken care of everything you need to relax and enjoy beautiful Lake Hartell. Location is great and the dock area is large and fun to hang out at. Deck and fire pit area were quite enjoyable. Great water for wakeboarding and wakeskating is just minutes away. This property was amazing! The owners have thought of every detail to make your visit enjoyable! There is plenty of space for sleeping and the two bathrooms are very clean. The hardwood floors and fireplace are impressive, and the kitchen is a great place to gather and look out upon the beautiful lake setting! The lake is pristine and very uncrowded. From the dock, you can enjoy viewing several species of birds and fish. We drove from Myrtle Beach and loved the comfort of the shaded cove and delightful water. What a change from our hot summers here at the beach! If you choose this rental, you are in for a real treat!

The whole family agrees, this was one of our best vacations yet! We rented a pantoon from Gordon and had a great time. Loved to see so many smiles on our children's faces all week. The children caught a lot of blue gill and catfish on the dock and we have some great memories now!! Dad also cought a lot of fish!! The house was perfect and we hope to be back again. It was a great few days that we spent in your house. We had everything and more what was expected. My friend and I went up to the lake for the weekend to scrapbook. The lake and view were beautiful. The house was very spacious, extremely well-equipped and very cozy. We really enjoyed the fireplace and found everything we needed right there. We will definitely go back.

We loved the house, the owners obviously take great care of it! It was exceptionally clean!! We had great time in this house with our kids. House has just been remodeled, so it looks and feels brand new. Lake is clean and deep and boat ride is awsome. Strongly suggest to rent the boat. We are definitly coming back!

We've had the best week ever here! The house was amazing -- it really felt like home. The memories made here will last a lifetime. We enjoyed the lake and all the extras - the paddle boat and great floats. There is quite a bit of room to spread out. Lots of areas to go for some time by yourself and several areas large enough for everyone to gather - the perfect combination! We can't wait to return!
