Each studio has a private entrance, full bath and kitchen, queen-size bed, ceiling fan and good reading lights, of course! The Studios are found in a quiet, old-fashioned Northeast neighborhood, becoming known as The International District because of so many fine ethnic restaurants and businesses, midway between Portland Airport and the heart of downtown, 4 1/2 miles to the southwest, and well-served by 2 bus routes and bicycle routes, and parks and neighborhoods made for jogging and walking pleasure, handy to shops and services, with easy access to freeways east, west, north and south.
The Front Studio has a private courtyard entry graced with grape vines and climbing roses, the Middle Studio entry is a cool bamboo-lined path. Guests are welcome to enjoy all the gardens, and the backyard Pavilion garden is now available for private events and gatherings, as well.
Come November/December, both studios will be available for 3-month sublet rental, on a month-to-month basis. Loved our stay in the Studio! We were there waiting for the birth of the first grandbaby and the wait went on and on... 3 weeks over due date! Peggy offered to let us stay on so that we could spend more time with baby. Our private little home was just perfect. It's well equipped and easy to use. Whole Foods right down the hill kept me in cooks heaven. The place is on a bus line, a quick taxi ride from PDX and could you find better walkable-to Thai or Vietnamese food? We loved the gardens and peace being outside. Our studio was a lovely haven in Portland. Peggy is wonderful. If we needed anything, she provided, arranged, or pointed us in the right direction. I needed a needle and thread, Peggy gave me some, wanted a great Portland beer - right down Sandy Blvd., needed a quiet moment and went into the back yard under the shelter to rest my bones on the luxe couch. I have to say, that during the 3 weeks I was partner-free in Portland, Peggy made my stay so comfortable. Sorta like staying with a friend or sister. She suggested great walking routes and good places to eat. I can't wait to go back to visit baby (and his lovely parents) and will be contacting Peggy, for sure -- Highly Recommended--

We were looking for a good, affordable, kid-friendly longer-term option while we looked for a rental house in Portland. When we found the 72nd studios listed along with all the amenities (abundant outdoor space, wifi, on-site parking, full kitchen, wonderful location close to Fremont, Broadway and Downtown, etc. etc.) I booked it right away. We have since stayed here for a better portion of the month with our two year old and have enjoyed every minute. The front studio is great, quiet, spacious, has a full kitchen, private outdoor area, super fast wifi, and all that you could need to be cozy plus the hostess is super cool and very helpful and friendly. **Highly recommended** and would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoyed the pavillion and the gardens while having a small family reunion. Great display of creativity in the garden. Our hostess was very acommodating. We have decided to make it "our studio" when in town to visit family

I spent 7 nights in a studio - good bed, clean, quiet, and serenely decorated. Grocery store a short walk away and donut shop around corner. My host couldn't have been nicer and was very helpful in managing my stay in Portland.
