I stayed at Honey's Retreat in the summer of 2010. The house truly felt like a home away from home. We were able to completely relax after a day of being tourists. We were even able to entertain our Carmel-based family for dinner! If you're looking for a great place to relax in comfort after a hard day's touring, look no further!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Dear Sue Thank you again for your lovely rental in Carmel. My family and I enjoyed your home very much. Your guest house was lovely and spacious and had all the necessities. Hope all was found satisfactory. My granddaugher thought the upstairs was for "Grand Princesses" you know we are flat in Texas. So going up and down was lots of fun. Thank you again

Appreciated the well equipped kitchen and th beds were really comfortable. Exceeded all expectations-it was actually beyond our expectations. You were also very easy to work with and very responsive. Thanks again for the lovely vacation.

Carmel is a lush, peaceful town and such small details will make for such pleasant memories. Your house was lovely, exceeding our expectations: bright sunlight, fabulous windows, very comfy beds, a cheery kitchen and quaint, red front door. Thank you so much for renting this house to us. We hope to visit it again.

Dear Sue and John, Our annual Easter trip to Carmel was more memorable this year because we stayed at Honey's Retreat! The cottage was charming and so comfortable, it was perfect for our family. The french accents throughout the house gave us fond memories of our many visits to France. Our holiday was wonderful and we thank you.

Your charming and cozy house was a great place to spend Thanksgiving. The cottage, the weather and the location were even better than we had anticipated. We've been dating for 7 years and finally got our families together to meet in person. It was a wonderful week, and we hope to come back next year.

Your charming home was the perfect setting for the celebration of my 60th birthday. Comfortable and welcoming. Your home provided relaxation after action-packed days at the aquarium, Big Sur and Monterey coast! Our entire family now shares a wonderful memory and good times at Honey's Retreat.
