You can choose whether to cook a lovely meal in the fully equipped kitchen, grill out at the new pool side barbecue,, or hop on the free trolley to a charming island restaurants, some of which are the finest in Florida! Then come home, enjoy a cocktail, and end your day with a clear, wonderful view of the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico from your private balcony.
Anna Maria Island is one of the best kept secrets in Florida! Pristine white sand beaches and Gulf waters make this a unique vacation destination. There are no high rises on ' our island'. It is very much Florida as it used to be. Longboat Key is a very short drive south of Club Bamboo and here you can visit St. Armand's Circle and the nearby Ringling Museum. McKechnie Field, the spring training facility of the Pittsburgh Pirates, is a 20 minute drive. Tampa, the cigar capital of the United States, is an hour away. Most of our visitors, though, find it hard to leave the beautiful beach and spend the days sunning, swimming, shelling,fishing, or just plain relaxing!
Club Bamboo makes for an ideal Honeymoon and is often used as the site for destination weddings. We will do everything possible to make your stay unforgettable!

We had a great time here - stayed for 4 nights. Unit was clean. Beautiful views of the Gulf from private patio- just steps to the beach. Lovely pool area. Beach is narrower here than northern section but was quiet. We would just drag the chaise lounges from pool to beach and back each day. Extra towels were readily available - just needed to go downstairs to office. We liked this part of the island as close to bars/restaurants. Bridgetenders was great place to have drink outdoors on the bay side. The owners were very helpful and responsive.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This Condo was awesome in every respect. The Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to do a little gourmet cooking, The views from the balcony were spectacular and the weather was perfect out whole time there.Owner response: So glad you had a great stay! We enjoyed our stay at Club Bamboo South and the listing provided was very accurate. The unit was clean and well maintained other than a couple of minor issues (garbage not emptied and carpet not vacummed). We would definitely recommend this property to other travellers. We especially like the beach here, as well as the view from the balcony. We found the following restaurants to be quite good - Mr. Bones (recommended by the unit owner), Sharkey's, and The Beach House as well as the local Publix supermarket. The Art Gallery in Anna Maria was also one of the nicest galleries we have been in. One other recommendation would be to do some maintenance on the balcony sliding door in the unit above #124. There were some chain smokers above us and they were in and out constantly (no issue with that); however their door was very noisy and very distracting. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.Owner response: Thanks for the review. the balcony is scheduled to be tiled in May which should be a nice improvement. We have chosen a terra cotta colored tile that should look good.We will look into the issue of the noisy door above our unit. Glad you enjoyed the restaurants!
