Our stunning ‘Beaufort’ London apartment rental is a whopping 800-square-foot garden-level property that offers the additional luxury of a large private garden off the spacious bedroom. Located on the garden level of a secure building on Beaufort Street in Chelsea, this very bright and opulent one-bedroom, one-bathroom London apartment rental accommodates four people in air-conditioned comfort. Situated between Fulham Road and the popular King’s Road shopping area, it is only five blocks from the River Thames and very close to the trendy ‘Beach’ neighborhood of chic boutiques, up-scale shops, and fine restaurants. It is within easy walking distance of two small supermarkets, a movie theater, trendy shops and restaurants, and explore London via the many of bus routes dissecting the neighborhood and the three nearby metro stations.
Enter our Beaufort London apartment rental by stepping through a locked sidewalk gate, descending a short flight of narrow stairs, and passing through another locked gate leading to the front door. It is a very secure apartment. Opposite the front door is an outside storage room that houses the Miele washer/dryer combo.
Step into the large, brightly-lit living room/dining area with its large bay window on the left facing the street. Within this window niche sits an antique oak dining table and chairs that seat six, as there is plenty of space and comfortable furniture in this front room to entertain guests and host gourmet meals prepared in the kitchen at the back left of the living area. Beneath the elaborate crown moldings are two large sofas in pale colors, two suede ottomans, and two antique-style armchairs with flower-print cushions that provide plenty of comfortable seating. One of the sofas is a sofa bed, which was imported from Italy and is the best quality we could find. It is slightly narrower than American doubles and would suit two children or one adult. In addition, we have provided an extra thick folding foam mattress and full bedding for one person as another sleeping option. This mattress is stored in the bedroom closet and can be used in either the bedroom or living room for your convenience.
The living room seating surrounds a large coffee table sitting on a beautiful oriental rug centered on the oak parquet floor, all in front of a decorative white marble fireplace adorning the left wall. A set of three carved wooden oriental wall hangings on the right wall provide a bold fashion statement, and modern and oriental side tables support fashionable lamps for lots of light after sunset. For your entertainment there is a TV. You’ll also find an oriental writing desk, phone, and free high speed Internet access to allow you to catch up on your emails and stay in touch with family and friends.
The kitchen of our London apartment rental has been completely remodeled and features plenty of oak cabinets for storage and good counter space in black granite. You’ll find a refrigerator/freezer, combination convection/microwave oven, three-burner stovetop, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, top-of-the-line dishware and cookware—everything you need to prepare gourmet meals at home. Marks & Spencer, known for their high-quality foods, is just around the corner!
A wide hallway leads from the living room past the bathroom on the right to the bedroom at the back of our London apartment rental. The hallway features large storage closets on the left that have tall mirror-covered doors to further brighten this interior passageway.
The large and eye-pleasing bathroom is decorated in pale limestone tiles and features a large porcelain sink, toilet, bidet, large mirrored medicine cabinet, heated towel rack, and a unique, large walk-in shower. Having a lavishly appointed bathroom of this size is a special treat for a London apartment rental.
At the end of the hallway is the bedroom that overlooks the private patio garden through its window and wall of foldout glass doors. The king-size bed still leaves plenty of room, surprisingly so for a London apartment rental. Two large wardrobes feature plenty of drawers and space to hang clothes, recessed halogen lamps provide lots of lighting, and adjustable bedside lamps allow you to comfortably read in bed, providing you’re not still gazing out at the patio.
The patio is truly an extension of your luxurious London apartment rental. A smart brick wall leads you up the three steps to this spacious outdoor haven complete with a large patio table and six chairs. The patio is totally private and surrounds you in luscious greenery. Soft accent lighting and water spouting from a lovely wall-mounted terra cotta fountain are sure to put you at ease after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. What a treat to come home to!
