This charming Del Mar beach cottage was one of the first homes built in the exclusive "Del Mar Beach Colony" just one and a half blocks off the beach. It has been lovingly restored to meet the needs of the 21st Century vacationer.
You are a skip to the beach, approximately a quarter mile walk to the Del Mar Racetrack, and about the same distance to the quaint village town of Del Mar. You may not need to use your car the entire vacation, but should you; there are plenty of parking spaces right out front. It is the perfect choice for a single family with occasional visitors. There is a Queen-size bed in the master, two sets of bunkbeds in Bedroom Two, and a queen-size pullout in the living room.
There is a hot tub in the private, landscaped backyard. As well, the beach cottage comes fully stocked with beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, and the ultimate summer activity...a ping pong table.
Del Mar is approximately 20 minutes from the S.D. Airport, Seaworld, The San Diego Zoo, Legoland, Balboa Park, etc.
Unless you can afford to rent on the sand, you can't beat this location!
