We just got back from a week in paradise at the Oceanside Tower Villa. We strongly agree with the owner’s description of the house and previous reviewers. Only positive experiences to share! A few highlights of the house include: 1) Located in a quiet, yet convenient part of town: Situated ~15 minutes away from the airport, it is an easy drive to many tasty restaurants and the best beaches. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel during our stay and felt very safe taking walks/runs in the morning. It was a nice break from city sounds to fall asleep to the sound of crashing ocean waves each night. 2) Good layout to suit many type of travelers: Our group consisted of four adults and one toddler. The party of three stayed on the lower level (walk out basement) which has three bedrooms and one jack-n-jill bathroom. The other couple stayed in the master on the main floor which has an en-suite bathroom. Also on the main floor are a spacious kitchen and living room, screened-in porch, and an open porch. The open porch is every vacationers dream – breath-taking view, infinity pool, comfortable lounge chairs, hammock, outdoor dining area, grill, and stairs down to the ocean. The top level is a single room in the tower with a 360 view and an awesome breeze! 3) Save your suitcase room for some snacks (food is expensive on the island) and only pack the basics: The house has any kitchen gadget, linen, or beach toy you might need. There is even a washer and dryer as well as several clothes racks so only need to pack your beach wear (in general, attire on island is very casual) and toiletries. We particularly liked that the house has a crib to make travel with a toddler easy and the endless number of movie choices and books to keep us entertained in the evenings. The welcome guide had good recommendations to the island’s best restaurants and beaches.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This property could not have been more perfect for our family vacation. The house was spacious and open while still providing everyone their own private spaces. The kitchen plus barbecue area was everything you could want. We took advantage of the extensive movie library and enjoyed music out on the deck. We loved the privacy and sense of having the island all to ourselves, while having everything just a short drive away. Swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful ocean was a favorite while the pool was certainly put into use as well. Our pool man was was a gem, very generous and helpful. The property manager was friendly and available, and the cleaning service was top-notch. We purchased seafood from the passing fishermen who were also very generous. My children surprised us by having booked a photographer to take family photos. The plan was that he would pick us up and take us to a location for a family shoot. When he arrived he confessed that he would not be able to take us anywhere that would top our surroundings and we whole-heartedly agreed. We shot our photos around the property and they are amazing. We all recommend this vacation property hands down!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I recently enjoyed our first trip to the TCI for our honeymoon. We stayed at Oceanside Tower Villa and enjoyed every last minute of it! What an gorgeous house. We'll never forget that infinity pool with the amazing view! We spent most of our time just relaxing on the beautiful patio and by the pool! With the ocean being right there, it was easy to jaunt off to enjoy some snorkeling or sea kayaking as well. The sunsets from the patio are simply indescribable. We loved staying here so much that it was difficult to say goodbye to the house and to island time. This villa had everything we needed for our stay in paradise. We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home to anyone, and we can't wait to go back ourselves! We have raved about it to our friends and family ever since we returned home!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Wonderful Villa!! We were there a week in August. The pool was amazing and the accommodations were fantastic. There is ocean access and a short drive will get you to the popular beaches in the area. The Villa is in a quiet part of the island, yet it is close enough to access the activities offered on the island, groceries, shopping and beaches. I would certainly recommend this Villa for a family or a large group!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We absolutely recommend the Oceanside Tower to anyone looking for a beautiful vacation spot in Turks and Caicos. I went down with friends to celebrate my birthday and can't imagine a better way to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. The infinity pool on the back deck alone makes it the perfect house for an unforgettable paradise vacation. I can't think of anything more relaxing than floating in the pool and looking out over the gorgeous, pristine ocean. The next best thing to the pool was the hammock right next to it for times when we wanted to get out of the sun for a while and take a nap or read. The rest of the house was fantastic as well, with a great, well-stocked kitchen that is open to the main living area and was perfect for cooking meals at home. We actually stayed at the house and cooked most meals at home, even grilling up some fresh fish that we caught earlier in the day. The house was in a great spot on the island too, far enough away from the resorts to be quiet and provide an undisturbed ocean view while being close enough to make a trip into town quick and easy. The owners do a great job setting the house up for guests and making it easy to get settled into the house and the customer service was great. The rooms were all very clean and well-maintained, with the bottom-floor rooms having a great walkout to the ocean. We really liked being able to wander down to the ocean to swim and play, even using the kayak provided by the owners, and then being able to come back up to the infinity pool for a more relaxing float. The stereo system in the house has speakers hooked up outside by the pool, so we had chill beach music playing all day while we all hung out and relaxed. We did take a few excursions around the island, doing a half-day snorkeling trip with Big Blue Unlimited and a half-day deep sea fishing trip, both of which were excellent. When we did want to get out for dinner, we went to the Conch Shack, a definite must-try restaurant with seats right on the beach and delicious conch-fritters and curried conch. All in all, we highly recommend Oceanside Tower to anyone looking to Turks and Caicos for a relaxing, fun getaway in paradise. We definitely plan to go back as soon as we can!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I stayed in the Oceanside Tower in August with a group of friends. This house and location could not have been more perfect for our group. There were enough activities for those that wanted to stay busy with snorkeling and swimming while others could relax in the pool or hammock. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped for our group that loves to cook. The bedrooms are also arranged in a way that provides enough privacy. I would definitely recommend this house to a family or large group, and would love to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our stay at the Oceanside Tower could not have been more perfect. This property provides everything for staying active or just relaxing. We spent time kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, and reading by the pool. My favorite time of day was watching the sunset from the infinity pool or the hammock on the back deck. The kitchen and BBQ provided our group, that loves to cook, with all of the space and tools we needed. We enjoyed dinner every night in the enclosed porch, which allowed us to enjoy the fresh evening air. The home feels very private but also allows easy access to groceries and is just a short drive from restaurants and shopping. I would love to go back, this was the best vacation I've ever had!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Wow- this location and house are spectacular! We spent five days at this house with friends in August and loved every minute of it. We spent almost all day and night in and around the pool. The few times we strayed from the pool was to take a dip in the ocean which is 20 feet from the bottom of the back deck. After going deep sea fishing the BBQ was great for cooking up the grouper and jack tuna we caught. The kitchen and main room are very large for entertaining. The house is located just outside of town in a quiet neighborhood (the only sound we heard was the ocean). The tower is fun to look out over the ocean. We honestly have no complaints- the owners, house and location were outstanding. The bottom line: We had a blast at this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I arrived at the Oceanside Tower less that 24 hours after we got married to kickoff our honeymoon. Before choosing this location I reached out to the owner with some questions and she was extremely helpful and answered them right away. I wanted a place that offered privacy and it surely delivered. The ocean was virtually ours with no one in sight. It was serene, peaceful and heavenly. The water is literally steps from the home which was extremely convenient and what we wanted. The pool was used every single day of our stay. The property was extremely clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. We grilled everyday of our stay. Nearby supermarkets allows you to buy and cook on your own if you want to stay in (we rented a car which i recommend). We had dinner out a few nights. Make sure to pay Coco Bistro a visit. The fresh fruit drinks are great! Pool was cleaned once during our visit by a very friendly and knowledgeable local. He recommended a few things to do. House was also cleaned once during our stay. This house is perfect for anyone that wants privacy and great for groups. House is extremely large with plenty of outdoor space. Property manager was easily accessible and a great resource. Can't wait to go again!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

My wife and I stayed at the Oceanside Tower for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything about the location was relaxing and romantic. It is off the beaten path so we did not have to deal with any unwanted hustle and bustle. The full service kitchen was great and made making meals very easy. But when we felt like going out that was also an option. Most of the islands restaurants were only about a ten minute drive away. There is a nice sound system to listen to while lounging at the pool and also a catalog of movies for watching at night. A short walk down to the ocean is also one of the many perks of Oceanside Tower. The crystal clear water is a sight to behold. My wife never really liked to swim in the ocean much, until we got to Turks. Our stay at the Oceanside Tower was better than I could have ever imagined. It was a perfect trip to commemorate our wedding. I would rate it 10/10 and I would recommend anyone looking to go to Turks and Caicos to stay at Oceanside Tower.Did you find this review helpful? This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and we had a great time at Oceanside Tower. It was perfect for our two children 5 and 18 months, plus our nanny. After having rented houses on St Barths for the last 5 years we were ready for a change (there are really no similarities between the two places except both are great in their own ways). The house was as advertised. It's very casual, and very comfortable and priced very well for what you get. Any short comings with the house are made up for by it's location and view. Is it luxurious, no, but trust me, we have very high standards and would rent it again no question. I don't think it would be great for couples as the upstairs bedroom is much better in terms of the view, private bathroom, and deck. We loved the proximity to Taylor Bay which is about a 3 minute drive from the house. We went there everyday and only ventured to Grace Bay for dinners. (CoCo Bistro and Anacaona, were great) We took the kids to Da Conch Shack and Mango Reef. Great settings, OK food. We ate at Las Brisas a few times, being so close to the house it's too easy and good to pass up. We only used the kitchen in the house for breakfast which was fine. We loved exploring the water in front of the house at low tide...lots of little fish to keep it interesting! Be sure to keep the doors shut at night as the mosquitoes can be killer. If you are into bonefishing, you can check out my blog on that at thefin dot com Also of note, the owners were very responsive so ask away if you need anythingRecommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

The house and all of its amenities were wonderful. I would be aware that electricity is high. I felt that we were charged too high an amount for NEVER running the washer, television, or air conditioning. Only ran the dryer 2 times for very short drying of swimsuits and fans for cooling. Also,we ran dishwasher a few times for the maid so she did not have an overabundance of dishes to do. Where do they get charging for electricity?? Shouldn't that be part of the rent? We stayed on the north side the first week, and were only charged for air conditioning if we went over our alloted 150.00. (To discourage open doors, etc.) Would not stay here again because of this outrageous fee for only minimal use of electricity. The place and pool are nice, but owners need to wake up and quit taking advantage of their guests.Owner response: We are delighted our guests and their friends enjoyed Provo and our house and its amenities. With regard to billing for electricity usage, Provo’s utility rates are more than 4 times the residential rate in Kansas City, and our guests did their part in conserving electricity by using less than $14/day. This add-on charge is onerous to both parties; however, in order to keep our rates down we must reluctantly charge for the usage. It is stated on all 11 web sites, it is in the written offer, and it is stated in the contract for full disclosure. We have had this policy for more than 6 years without a misunderstanding. Prior to having this policy, the average electrical usage was over $40/day with some exceeding $65/day.

We had a fantastic time in Turks and Caicos and really enjoyed our stay at the Oceanside Villa. The pool probably has the best view of all the villas in that subdivision and we were able to snorkel in the ocean right behind the house. It was so peaceful and calm near the house that it was by far one of the most relaxing vacations we had ever been on! Las Brisas resort is such a great bonus nearby and if you truly want to escape you really never need to leave the area and could dine here every night and never get tired of the menu! The service is great and food was some of the best on the island. We were also able to easily rent kayaks from Las Brisas and enjoy the beautiful sound. Great location for peace/quiet, beautiful view, wonderful house, and a trip we hope to return to again in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We arrived in the early evening, & were welcomed by the property manager, who kindly led us to the house (a very easy 10mins from the airport), stopping at a local convenience store first so we could pick up the basic necessities for breakfast the next morning. We arrived after dark, so had no idea of what anything looked like until the next morning, when we opened our eyes onto the most spectacular views from the master bedroom! The house was amazing - wonderfully furnished, all the amenities one could ask for, with the added touches of things that you just don't want to lug across the Atlantic in your suitcase: linens, towels, soaps, etc were all provided. The decor was light and airy, complementing the architecture of high ceilings and fans. Winding stairs led from the great room up to the 'tower', where there was a sitting area which one could just go & enjoy the views (our 4 year old son made it his 'area', playing with his toys, reading books). We really appreciated the dining options of out by the pool or in the enclosed screened porch. There were a couple of nights when the mosquitoes were out, so the porch was perfect. It was blissfully quiet in the evenings, and the star-gazing was amazing! Having both the pool and the beach (when the tide was out) was great. Being able to lounge in the pool in the mornings and have fun in the ocean in the afternoon made for very relaxing days. Having a 4 year old meant a bit more caution was needed, but it was mere steps from one to the other. We very much appreciated the rafts, floats, and pool toys that were made available to us at the house as well. The house is local to everything, mere minutes to shopping and dining - we had wonderful evenings out in Turtle Cove at Sharkbite Restaurant and Tiki Hut. The IGA supermarket had everything we needed. If you fancied a quick coffee, the Green Bean whipped up a gorgeous latte and our son could not get enough of their chocolate chunk cookies! Oceanside Tower not only has it's own little beach, but a few minutes drive took us to Sapodilla Beach and Taylor's Bay, both of which have beautiful sandy beaches of their own. The sunsets on the beach were spectacular. We did find the entertainment center rather tricky to master; having internet/tv/stereo/cable etc all managed via a keyboard and several remotes meant that it took quite some time to just get onto anything. It was a bit more high-tech than what we felt was necessary. **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!**Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We were a three generation family who were lucky enough to enjoy the week after Christmas in this home. The weather was spectacular, but was only a small piece of why we enjoyed this trip so much. The house is an easy drive from the airport, in a very private but safe location. The moment we walked through the front door it was like a dream come true! The house was very inviting and comfortable. The layout offers plenty of privacy for anyone who needs a bit of time to relax and enjoy a little solitude, while also offering areas for everyone to gather comfortably. We ate all our meals on the back deck, enjoying the view. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed to make all our meals at home. The library of movies and books was also an unexpected treat, entertainment for everyone. A wonderful stock of pool towels and bath towels was located in each bathroom. The house was immaculately clean and everything was as advertised here. The highlight of this location for us was the ability to snorkel every day. As soon as the tide went out we all assembled at the steps down onto the sand and began the exploration - there was much to be seen in the rocks and coral along the shore and even more under the water. The water was clear and warm and held nothing but pleasant finds. We had considered taking some of the chartered snorkeling trips, but quickly realized we had everything we wanted right in our own back yard. The owners went far out of their way to answer our endless stream of questions before the trip and the local manager was eager to be sure we were 100% comfortable once we arrived. We strongly endorse this property and hope to have the opportunity to enjoy it again some day.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to escape to one of the most beautiful and serene settings in the world. If you need constant entertainment and pampering, keep looking - this vacation will allow you to fully unwind as no scheduled, event-driven resort can match. Not for everyone, but for those that have always said "just put me on an island and leave me alone" - here's your chance!! P.S. - Ignore the weather forecasts - they always seem to show some rain, but the weather is incredible.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I stayed at Oceanside Tower for a week and it was amazing. It is right on the water and you have the choice of swimming in the pool or stepping down to the ocean. I especially loved lying outside by the pool at night, listening to the waves, and looking up at the stars--you can see thousands! I was there with family members and we had 8 there comfortably. We stocked up the kitchen by going to the nice big grocery store on the main highway. We ate some meals at home and grilled out, and we ate out at some terrific restaurants. Conch fritters rule! I especially liked the restaurant Las Brisas, which is a very short drive (maybe 2 miles) away. A beautiful view there. Other family members went snorkeling and said it was the best snorkeling they'd ever experienced. I lay out in a hammock and read several books while enjoying the ocean breeze. I can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I recently vacationed in Turks and Caicos with my family in July 2008, and from the beginning we knew we wanted to stay in a villa for more privacy. We did some google and trip advisor searches and found Oceanside Tower, which turned out to be an absolute paradise. The pictures of the pool overlooking the ocean were exciting, but it's absolutely breathtaking when you get there. The glass doors in the living room and master bedroom overlooking the ocean were especially great. Mostly though, we loved the privacy which provided a quiet and relaxing week for all of us to kick back and enjoy the view off the deck. I don't think I could stay at a resort and share a pool with other tourists ever again! The house looked great when we got there, everything was very clean with linens, towels, etc. Our favorite restaurant proved to be Las Brisas which was right down the road from Oceanside Tower. They had great Mediterranean food with a Caribbean twist, and even a Brazilian buffet on Friday nights. Be sure to make a reservation, though, so that you can be seated in the offset gazebo with the best views of Chalk Sound...the bluest water I've ever seen! Baci was another hit with great Italian food and some of the best service we found on the island. It was also great to be able to grill back at the house too. We picked up some fresh fish from the market one night and did chicken and pork another night. The kitchen was huge and had all the things we needed for a great meal in as well. The worst part of the trip...having to leave! We're already looking at dates for next summer to get back to Oceanside Tower!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed in this villa for our honeymoon back in August 2006 and again this year in June. We absolutely love the location. The pictures do not do it justice. It's truly a beautiful home in paradise. The infinity edge pool was my favorite thing but my husband’s was snorkeling in the “backyard”. We were so happy with how clean the home was both visits and how well-kept it was even two years later. I have recommended this home to numerous friends looking for a private, care-free getaway.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
