Our last minute plans to Ski Wolf Creek instead of Breckenridge turned out to be a fabulous vacation. Thanks so much for making our stay affordable after losing our deposit @ Breck. The country here is awesome as is the skiing. Everyone was laid back, helpful, and so friendly. And you can't beat the prices, half the amount at the "big" resorts. We are headed to Pagosa Springs our last day, a perfect ending to 5 days of skiing. Your home is lovely and it is great to spread out. The garage was perfect for storing ski equipment. All in all a wonderful trip. The only downside was fresh snow the day we had to leave, missed the powder day! We definitely hope to get back again. Many thanks.

I came up here with my husband and our good friends. We came up here to ski and celebrate my birthday. What an amazing weekend! This home has everything we needed for the best ski/relax/bond weekend ever! I hadn't been to the area in about a decade, and getting to come here and ski and visit Rare Things in Creede was all I expected it to be. Thank you!!

We had such a wonderful time! This is our first family vacation with our 8 1/2 month-old son. He loved crawling from one kitchen rug to the next :-). We truely enjoyed being in "God's Country". Creede is such a cute little town. We met many locals who told us of GREAT sightseeing spots. Hiking and fishing were a blast. I enjoyed my morning runs along the Rio. The cabin was perfect and cozy for our little family. We plan to come back with my sisters and their kids. We are grateful to you for being able to stay in ya'lls cabin and have such a wonderful time!

My father starting coming to here (Creede area) in 1928! My grandfather brought him here as his graduation present from Texas A&M. Grandfather came through here in 1907 on his way to Alaska! My family has been coming here since 1984! However, have never stayed in such a beautiful place. Your home is wonderful. Enjoyed our stay very much. We are looking forward to staying here again Thanksgiving with our family. Know the kids and grandkids will love it! Thank you for sharing your home. Great fishing and good memories. P.S. - You know, if God took a vacation, it would have to be here!

As our second time here with additional family, the new spare room was wonderful. We thank God for sharing the blessing with us. We loved the walk down to the river and waving to the rafters. As ever, the fishing was wonderful!

We love this place! Thank you so much for letting us share your home..or sharing your home with us, rather. Our four kids had a blast and we caught lots of fish. It was so fun to hear my children squeal with delight when they caught their first fish.

Awesome Memorial Day Weekend. Sunshine, low 32, high 76, windy, beautiful clouds. Large blanket of stars, amazing sight. The "Taste of Creede" brought out local artists. What fun!

Small men's retreat here. Thanks! Wonderful home, well decorated, thoroughly equipped and stocked. Saw Pagosa Springs (baths, too!), Creede (saw show and toured mine), and went to Durango (Ken & Steve's is a nice restaurant) Quiet here, peaceful, and love being 1 block from river. Caught brown trout. Hope to climb smaller hill behind cabin and fish a little more before we leave in the a.m. God bless and thanks again! P.S. - used your computer and my laptop, thanks!

Simply beautiful! Such a great place to relax, spend time with friends, and celebrate several 50th birthdays. We enjoyed hiking, Great Sands Dunes, Zapata Falls, Bachelor Loop, Creede, fishing @ river & lakes, and horseback riding. Thank you for giving us the perfect place to do it all!

Breathtakingly beautiful! God's handiwork is awesome to see. It stands as a reminder that He created the world for us. I loved our trips to Pagosa & Creede but mostly the laughing when we are together. The theatre was great. We loved Bachelor Loop.

Caught 59 trout in 5 days using Panther Martin Rainbow Spinner with bluish/green body while wade fishing. The Rio Grande along this stretch of the river: heaven here on earth. P.S. - only kept the limit & right size and released the rest. Most were 14" to 17" browns.

I have never seen my husband so relaxed. I loved going to Wolf Creek, Creede, and the frozen river; sites I have never seen...I especially enjoyed our walks in the snow...Your cabin has such a welcoming feel-warmth and that at home feel.

We had an awesome stay at your cabin. We made trips to the Hungry Logger. Skiing was amazing over here. Overall, we got a lot of memories we are unlikely to forget anytime soon.

Thanks again for the use of your home. We covered a lot of ground during our week stay. We successfully managed to go down a section of Stony Pass without brakes on the bikes. The house was just the right size and location. Thanks again.

Guest writes, "We spent the night on the road because of heavy snow and poor visibility. We really enjoyed the house, snow boarding and skiing. Christmas Eve was attended at South Fork. It was a beautiful candlelight service with an excellent music program. We ate lots of turkey, hot chocolate, and candy. We hope to go home as safely as we arrived."

Guest writes, "What a wonderful way to bring in the New Year. Friends, family, and 14 degree snowy weather. Everything was wonderfully cozy in the Wolves Den. This trip was enjoyed relaxing, trip to Creede, playing cards, fabulous skiing, beautiful snow, playing the card game B.S...thats banana split, roasting marshmellows on the back porch, playing computer games and reading for fiction, trips to town and watching the teenage girls follow cute boys around, video games, and watching adults play guitar hero!"

Tomorrow we must depart it has been a great week of fishing, shopping, scenic drives, playing games, and doing puzzles. Guest writes, "From one fellow Texan to another thanks for your southern hospitality. We had a wonderful week in South Fork staying at your home. We fished the Rio Grande and took three trips to Creede. We are not known as 'Creedeons'! We couldnt get enough of the homemade ice cream and fennel cakes from the Firehouse in Creede. The shopping was great too. We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at the Swiss Chalet in South Fork. Our weekly wildlife sighting included elk, deer, turkeys, prairie dogs, big horn sheep, coyotes, and several chipmunks."
