ENJOY THE PERFECT LOCATION AND A BEAUTIFUL NEWLY REMODELED HOME FOR THE US OPEN WEEK. Located on Sombrero Rd. in the heart of MPCC golf course area, our wonderful and welcoming Pebble Beach home is an ideal place to spend a special golf vacation week. We are just completing an extensive remodel (as I write this entry on May 15th), and will be ready to welcome guests by June 1st. The project includes a brand new kitchen with professional grade stainless appliances, granite counters, and beautiful custom tile. We have similarly fully remodeled both bathrooms and also installed new windows/doors/exterior. Most fun is the charming and enticing new landscaping in both the front and back yards-- including a professional PUTTING GREEN, beautiful stone GAS FIRE PIT, luxurious new SPA, and two new DECKS so you can relax and enjoy the sea air or the company of friends. (the grapestake and stone fencing, gorgeous plants, winding pathways, and sitting areas aren't bad either). The house is truly charming, filled with light in every room, very well-stocked to ensure a comfortable visit, and now available for the US Open week.

Nestled in a quiet and private neighborhood, this charming three bedroom, two bathroom vacation property is less than a half mile from the breathtaking ocean views of Seventeen Mile Drive and just minutes from the world-class golf courses of Pebble Beach. Newly remodeled, the architectural centerpiece of this one story ranch-style property is a beautiful stone fireplace which opens to both the living and family rooms.
Hardwood floors, high wood-beamed ceilings, and the many large windows and glass doors with views of the front and back gardens create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The home is decorated with a harmonious mix of contemporary, traditional and antique furnishings. The open floor plan is spacious and yet cozy, offering great spaces to relax, play and entertain family and friends.
You’ll find a full range of amenities for your enjoyment during your stay: plasma TV with DVD/VHS in the family room, high-speed internet, Play Station 2, and an assortment of books and games. A ping pong table is located near the washer and dryer in the attached two-car garage, so you can even enjoy doing the laundry!
Meal preparation will be a pleasure in the updated kitchen equipped with professional grade refrigerator and dishwasher, electric cooktop, built-in microwave and wall oven, as well as plenty of cabinet and drawer space which is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, glassware, kitchen linens, professional cookware/pots and pans and knives.
The adjacent dining area seats six comfortably, with two table extensions and four additional chairs available to seat upto 10 at the dining table. Sliding glass doors open onto a large deck and lushly landscaped backyard. Another side deck, complete with teak patio furniture and a professional gas grill, provides the perfect setting for outdoor dining and entertaining.
The master suite features a king-size bed, two spacious closets, and a lighted vanity area with sink. The adjoining master bath has a unique step-down shower stall. Of the two guest bedrooms, one has a queen-size bed and one features antique twin spindle beds. In addition to the lush, comfortable bedding, all three bedrooms are equipped with flat panel TV’s with DVD/VCR’s for your added enjoyment. A second bathroom with a shower over tub is located in the hall just outside the bedrooms. All bed and bath linens are provided, as well as a basic supply of soap and paper products.
This home is located in the Monterey Peninsula Golf Club neighborhood, just off the famous Bird Rock Rd.

We stayed here in March 2011 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The landscaping and outdoor peaceful setting and amenities are absolutely beautiful. All of the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and it seems the owners thought of everything. Great stuff to entertain kids, hangers for guest use in the closets, etc. etc.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
