What a beautiful cabin! Such a relaxing peaceful place. Very clean and plenty of room for a big family. We especially enjoyed Buck entertaining us while we played pool. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Balconies were abundant and a perfect place to sit and read while listening to the river run. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a 4 day weekend in mid feb. The cabin is really nice and the setting is awesome. The owners are nice and really easy to work with. The wrap around porch is awesome for hanging out with a breath taking view. This cabin really is right on the river. We have stayed at cabins in the area before that have claimed to be "on the river", but they turned out not to live up my definition of that. The only negative about this place is the well water is kind of stinky (sulfur smell), but its probably that way for any of the cabins on a well in that immediate area. Also, if you plan to have a fire down by the river in the fire pit be sure to bring your own wood or plan to drag some out of the woods. An ax will also prove handy. Overall, we really liked this cabin and will hopefully be back again soon. Thanks Ron and Pearl for sharing the toccoa pearl!

We stayed at the Toccoa Pearl to celebrate my sister's "big" birthday. We were a group of 5 women. We had a great time and the accommodations could not have been more perfect. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Our favorite thing was just relaxing on the porch and taking in the amazing view. The house is top-notch - decorated to perfection. It had everything we could possibly have needed. Beautiful furnishings make the cabin warm and inviting. There was more than enough space for the 5 of us. Ron and Pearl were extremely gracious and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We loved every minute of it whether we were just sitting around the fireplace, playing games, reading, enjoying the hot tub, cooking in your FABULOUS kitchen, hiking, canoeing, shopping or visiting the local apple orchard. WOW.... what an amazing vacation my family had staying at this beautiful home. It far exceeded all of our expectations. Ron and Pearl, thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your fabulous home. Thank you also for consistently going above and beyond to ensure my family had the best vacation possible!! My family, my brother's family and my parents all celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I feel blessed to have shared this special occasion with my family. I know we created many beautiful memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed every moment, from white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking,kayaking, tubing down the Toccoa.... right out the front door, and exploring the quaint little town of Blue Ridge. Dear Pearl and Ron, Our family returned from a week's stay at your wonderful cabin. We had seen all the pictures and knew it was going to be nice but we still couldn't believe how comfortable and beautiful the cabin and Blue Ridge is. Wow!! Our daughter (Laura Wiley) rented the cabin to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. There were ten of us, four teenagers, one 10 year old our daughter, son-inlaw, son and my husband Artie and myself. We probably would have had a wonderful time just hanging around and enjoying your cabin and the view. The children tubed every minute they could and laughed and laughed. We loved watching and hearing them have such a wonderful time. The hot tub overlooking the river, the pool table and the game room, and all the decks,the barbecue were used and enjoyed by us all. Our meals in you well stocked kitchen that we cooked were extra delicious. Our cookies and cakes the children baked, scrumptious. There was so many things close by that we were able to take advantage of. We hiked by the waterfalls, went to Blue Ridge Lake(what a gorgeous beach), went white river rafting (very exciting), horseback riding, saw the suspension bridge,bowling, shopped and shopped in the quaint little shops and feasted in numerous local restaurants. The one I liked best was the L&L Beanery that serves just breakfast and lunch, the service was fantastic and the food yummy. We sat in the evening playing games, watching movies and just reminicing. My husband and I usually go away every year with our children and granchildren. We have cruised together, been to Disney, rented beach houses,water parks, New York City and many other places. By far, renting your beautiful, large but homey, comfortable cabin provided us with our best vacation yet. Thank you so much for helping us to have an awesome week. Peggy Eggeling and Family

Dear Ron and Pearl, Our extended family of 9 totally enjoyed your cabin last week. We had mom, dad, and 7 teens/college students and all were sad to leave our family vacation. Dear Ron and Pearl, Our stay at your river front cabin was nothing less than incredible. We enjoyed the game room,scenic train ride through the mountains, and many activities and parks that were only an hour or so away from your luxurious cabin. The cabin was extremely clean and well organized, and was more than we ever expected. We can't say enough about how tranquil and happy our stay was while at your place. The area and local residents were extremely friendly and that really added to our stay. I personally will be recommending your place to my family and friends who are looking for a fun, relaxing, and family oriented get away. Also most importantly, I want to mention we all enjoyed the christian atmosphere of your cabin. It brought true peace to us during our stay. And last but not least, our last day we fished right in front of your cabin and caught and released 21 trout. What an extraordinary way to end the great time we had. What an excellent cabin! I rented this cabin for a company retreat for our small office and I must say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Everything was great. Especially loved the pool and foosball tables. The water right outside the cabin is also provides excellent wading for fly fishing. Major thumbs up! I love visiting Blue Ridge and this cabin will definitely stay in my list of ones to return to.

I just had to say that it has been WAY too long since we visited the cabin! I miss it, and can't wait to get back and go tubing. :)I love sitting on the deck, hearing the river rush by; and of course all the goo food is a given. We're looking forward to our trip in the fall as well...there's nothing like the holidays with family. What do you guys say we all meet back there in June or July 2009? Let's talk about it at Thanksgiving!

We rented the Pearl for the last week of June, and had both sets of parents, sister and her boyfriend, and various friends stopped in to visit. The "cabin" is beautiful, and the amenities are great (everything you might need is in the kitchen!) We love the cabin because it was built to truly accomodate a large gathering. With 8 seatings at the table and 3 at the bar next to it, the multiple rockers and picnic table on the deck, and the sofas and chairs around the house - this is the place to be! The decks provide great views, and the hot tub is perfect after a day in the river. We loved fishing different parts of the Toccoa (be careful below the dam for when they release the water!) Boating on Lake Blue Ridge was a great finale for our visit. This is a place we could easily visit again. Check out The Lily Pad restaurant at the intersection of Aska and Riverside Lane - good food and great coffee! Thanks!

Dear Ron & Pearl: Our family just returned from Toccoa Pearl, and we want to thank you for allowing us to share a slice of your heaven on earth. You have somehow managed to combine totally PLUSH with completely comfortable. Our family of 12 had a wonderful Christmas in your beautiful cabin. The tree was a very nice surprise. The cabin was immaculate. The beds were incredible. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and then some. The view of the river is fantastic. We loved tubing down the river everyday. Wonderful house, comfy beds, great outdoor eating area, and this house had everything you could want in a home. We loved the hummingbirds on the deck. We loved the pool table. We really apprecaited all the porches and the balconies. It's also a 10 minute drive from a grocery store. FABULOUS !!!

Myself and my family travelled from Ireland and England for a holiday in Blue Ridge.We stayed at this beautiful cabin for two week and had a brilliant time. While the men played pool in the evening us women relaxed in the hot tub listening to the sound of the river(what a bonus)In the daytime we went fishing,tubing down the river and explored the lovely town of Blue Ridge. We highly recommend this cabin and would defy anyone to spend time there and not enjoy it. Ron & Pearl, Stunning !! That's what we thought when we saw your cabin. It wasn't just as good as advertised, it was far beyond our greatest expectations! This was like staying in a 5 star luxury penthouse. Very clean, tastefully appointed, and the wrap around balcony view was a daily delight and nothing short of nourishment for the soul. Ron & Pearl, Just wanted to thank you for allowing us to share our first Christmas vacation together in such a beautiful place. The tree you provided was a festive surprise. The house is beautiful and there was nothing rustic about it. Your home is first class all the way. Extremely clean and lacked nothing. The Toccoa Pearl was perfect for a family that likes to spread out. For a family vacation it was nice to be able to retreat to quiet place and read a book. The rushing water was so peaceful. I won't miss the driveway but it certainly made it entertaining in the rain. We look forward to returning. Thanks again.

This place is awesome! It is one of the best cabins I have been in! The rooms are all set up to make you feel right at home with tons of extras!! Hot tub! Pool table! Tubing down the river!
