We have just returned home after a fabulous 2 weeks in Naples and we can wholeheartedly agree with all the previous comments. The villa is large but homely and extremly comfortable, it is really well equipped and all the towels and linens are really good quality and plentiful. it is situated in a quiet community and although there are houses on each side they are hidden from view by hedging and we neither heard nor saw the neighbours at all, the view from the pool deck is delightful, as is the pool itself and there is ample room for sunbathing. The villa is approx 10 mins from the I75 and about the same to the US41 and then another couple of minutes to downtown Naples, in less than half an hour from leaving the villa you can be dipping a toe in the sea, having set up your beach chairs and umberellas, all available at the villa. Naples beach is lovely, unspoilt with pristine white sand, we saw dolphins everytime we went as well as manatees, turtles and rays and watched in awe at eagles and ospreys fishing. We use to finish our day at the beach with a frozen coffee from The Bad Ass on 3rd St. There's fabulous shopping at the Miromar outlets about 30 mins away on the 75 and it's really nice wandering up 5th Ave and browsing the shops and galleries. Another good day out was had at the Corkscrew Sanctuary, again, about 30 mins away, we saw some incredible wildlife, take a picnic as the cafe only sells snacks. We didn't venture out to eat much as being out all day we just wanted to come back to the villa and relax but the Olde Village Pub on 3rd St does decent food and drink and the cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory is out of this world. This is an ideal villa in a lovely part of Florida, the whole booking process has been hastle free and Anne has been lovely to deal with, in fact we got our deposit cheque back within 5 days of leaving- fantastic service- so if you're looking for a luxurious villa in a great area, close to all the things Naples has to offer then choose this one, you won't be sorry!Owner response: Thank you very much Janet for writing such an informative review. I am sure that other potential renters will find it very useful. I am glad that you enjoyed the perfect location - as you say the house is in a very peaceful community but close to everything that you need. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

The rental house was equipped with everything necessary to have a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool, lake view, kitchen, and neighborhood. It was great that the pool area was screened in. The house is located in a very quiet community, and it was convenient to be a 5-10 minute drive to the heart of Naples. The interior of the house was in excellent condition, the rooms were bright and open, and the bathrooms were quite nice. Overall, we loved our stay and if ever back in Naples we'd try to stay here again!Owner response: Thank you very much Oliver. We are so pleased that you all had such a good stay at the house and enjoyed the great location and all that the house offers. We never rest on our laurels and are constantly improving and adding to the equipment etc. A large number of our guests are now regular returnees and they all say they are never disappointed on their return. We look forward to welcoming you and your colleagues back when you return to Naples again.

This villa is spectacular! The location is superb - so near Naples town and also with spectacular walks and bike rides around the lake. We cycled out to dinner! The home is luxuriously appointed, with a huge TV, tvs etc in all the bedrooms and a well specified kitchen. The pool deck and vistas are fantastic - we enjoyed simply getting up and watch the sunrise over the lake. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed splashing around after returning from the beach. The owner was very attentive - we asked for advice on walks on Easter Sunday and got a response straightaway! This is the best villa we have stayed in in Florida!Owner response: Thank you very much Paula for taking the time to write such a wonderful review of your stay at Villa Rilassante. We very much look forward to welcoming you again in the future when you return to enjoy the delights of the villa and the wonderful community. I was very glad to be able to help you out with some further information as I always want my guests to enjoy their time at the villa to the full.

What a great vacation! From the stunning view when you walk through the doors, the beautiful home meticulously equipped, to all the helpful and thorough info, to all the doors opening wide onto the lanai, even to the positioning of the house - sun in the lanai in the morning and some shade in the afternoon. It was all so perfect. We will always have great memories of this time spent with our family. Thanks Anne and Peter.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We spent a week at this wonderful villa and would recommend it without hesitation. It is extremely comfortable and feels like a real home away from home with everything you could need while on vacation, from books, DVDs and pool accessories, to a very well equipped kitchen. The house was spotless on our arrival and is obviously very well maintained. Waking up early with a toddler was a good excuse to watch the beautiful sunrise over the lake and spot some of Florida's local birds before having an early morning swim - just delightful. The pool is gorgeous, and we enjoyed many hours sunbathing in the lanai and enjoying the peace and quiet of the lake. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area: we visited Old Naples and watched fishermen on the pier, went to the Botanical Garden, which was a definite highlight, visited the zoo, took a day trip to Sanibel Island and went shopping in the upscale Waterside Shops. Having Publix supermarket close by was very handy. Communicating with Anne was very easy, with prompt replies to my emails and a fast return of the deposit. She kindly provided a lot of information about the house and surrounding area before we got there, which was very helpful. All in all a superb villa - just a shame that it already seems to be booked out for much of 2013!Owner response: Thank you Susan for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We are so pleased that you all a wonderful holiday and we do hope that you will be able to return in the future. You can be sure that you will find the villa just as magical.

Von uns gibt's 6 Sterne:-)Owner response: Thank you very much for your kind review, Susan. We do appreciate that you took the time to write it and are so pleased that you had such a good time in the house. We look forward to welcoming you back again very soon.

This was our 1st time in Naples, but we have stayed in Florida 10 times in the past 12 years. I did a lot of research before choosing which villa to stay in and i think i would have been hard pushed to have found a better one than Villa Rilassante. There is everything you could wish for in the villa. The pool and lanai area are superb. Plenty of space to relax on the sun longers and you get the sun until around 4.30-5.00pm. The outside furniture is of excellent quality and the pool area and the pool itself are well maintained. It was great to be able to use the barbecue and relax with a few cold beers from the large fridge. The inside of the villa is well furnished and there is every convenience you could want. The main bedroom and en suite bathroom are luxorious. The shower is more of a room in itself it's that large. The other remaining bedrooms/bathroooms are all you could wish for. The litchen has every untensil you need and as mentioned the fridge is large with plenty of room for those cold beers or wine. There is also a ice machine which came in very handy. There is a large lounge area to relax in at the end of the day with a massive screened tv. We spent quite a few days just staying at the villa, soaking up the sun. It was great to see all the wildlife in and around the picturesque lake which was right at the back of the villa. We saw ducks, turtles, nuerous birds, which included 2 Eagles which we named Eddie and Edie. There were 2 friendly geese, which we named Ant & Dec after 2 well known british tv stars. We also enjoyed having our breakfast and watching the sunrise over the far side of the lake. We loved Naples, great beach, loved the Pier and the breathtaking sunsets. We saw turtles, stingrays, various fish and dolphins. The sand is golden and soft and the beach is not crowded at all. We ate at a few restaurants, our favourites were Lindbergers (best burger and fries ever), The Olde Naples Pub, Cheesecake Factory and we loved Suzi Too's which is next to the Publix supermarket less than 1 mile from the villa. The Everglades was close enough for us to make a few days out there. We loved the various walks we made through the swamps (on boardwalks) and mangroves. It's great to see the wildlife up close, including a few alligators. We also enjoyed a great boat trip, which we picked up at Tin City. You get to see outstanding property's and dolphins. Myself, my wife Deb and my sister, Linda are returning this September.A repeat booking says it allOwner response: Thanks Rob for your very helpful review. I am sure that future renters will find it very helpful and reassure them that the house is as good as we say it is! As you say the fact that you are coming back (as so many of our guests do) shows the quality of the house. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back again in September.

I stayed at this villa with my family for 11 nights. Prior to our stay communication with the owner Anne was excellent, and we have received excellent customer service throughout. Shortly before arrival we received all relevant information regarding the property and stay at Naples. Upon arrival the villa was very clean and all ready for our stay. It is located in a lovely quiet, clean residential area and the views from the back of the house on to the lake are amazing, it was a joy to wake up to everyday. The home has everything you need for your stay with added extras such as games, DVD’s, beach equipment etc etc. It is in a good location and close to the beaches, downtown, and local attractions. There is a supermarket and starbucks very close to the property. We really enjoyed our stay at this villa and miss sitting by the pool watching the wildlife by the lake.Owner response: Thank you for your kind words, Heidi. I am so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay at the villa. We do try to offer the best customer service, with the help of our excellent property manager, so that our guests can have the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday possible. We look forward to welcoming you back again.

We returned from our stay at Villa Rilassante at the end of May and we can't wait to return! It was great to wake up every morning, sitting out with a view of the lake whilst having breakfast (watching the sunrise at first, as we adjusted to the time difference!). The Villa really is beautiful, from the huge living room to all the bedrooms, myself, my wife, our 2 children, my parents and 2 friends had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Everything you need is waiting for you at the Villa, from a fully stocked Kitchen to Towels and linens. Everything is kept clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. The outside Lanai and pool area is simply superb, my children loved splashing around in the pool, and all the adults enjoyed sunbathing on the loungers whilst watching the wildlife on the lake outside. In the evening we made great use of the Barbecue, sitting at the table outside, enjoying our evening meal and a glass or two of wine! The location in Kings Lake is great, around 2 to 3 miles from Naples centre and beaches. Kings Lake is a lovely neighbourhood, which I had the pleasure of cycling around on the bikes provided. Publix supermarket is close by which is very handy. If shopping is your thing (like my wife!), Miromar outlets is located about 20 mins North on the Interstate, this is a great outlet mall, with lots of bargains to be found. The Coastland mall in Naples is also a nice shopping centre, with restaurants around the outside, one of these is The Cheesecake Factory, we try to visit here once when in the States, as the food is excellent, but a word of warning, the portions are huge! We usually end up taking a slice of cheesecake home for lunch the next day! The centre of Naples has some very nice restaurants, our favorites are Yabba (5th Av S) and Tommy Bahamas (3rd St sth). McCabes Irish Pub is a lovely place to sit outside and watch the world go by on 5th Avenue. The beach at Naples pier is beautiful and watching the sunset from here is a must. You can see Dolphins regularly swimming up close to the pier or from one of the boat trips at the City dock (by Pinchers crab shack in Tin City). We try to get to Naples every 2 years as we love the area. This was the first time we had stayed at Villa Rilassante, and it is without doubt, the best property we have stayed in. Anne is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We would like to thank Anne & Peter for allowing us to stay in the their beautiful home, we will definitely be back.Owner response: Thank you very much for you very kind and most informative review. I know that it will be very helpful to other potential renters. I am so pleased that you all had such a great time in the house. We do try to provide everything that guests will need to have the most enjoyable and relaxing holiday. It was a pleasure to do business with you and we look forward to your return when you next holiday in Naples.

We had a lovely stay in this house. I was particularly taken with the beautiful view across the lake which greets you as you walk into the main room. Our baby daughter loved splashing about in the pool, and we found lounging by the pool-side wonderfully relaxing. The pool cage is a great idea - you still feel just like you're outside, but no horrible bugs! The house itself is very spacious, with two of the bedrooms opening out straight onto the pool-deck, and it is lovely to emerge straight from your bedroom into the gorgeous sunshine. The living room has a huge TV, and there is a good collection of films for guests to use. There are useful amenities a pleasant walk away, including a supermarket and the obligatory Starbucks. Like everywhere else in America you do need access to a car in order to conveniently travel further afield, but there is a lovely beach and main street just a short drive away, as well as other more everyday facilities such as nice restaurants, a large cinema and a shopping mall. We also visited a good outlet mall which was only a 15-20 minute drive away, where my partner could easily have spent a fortune if we had it - and she usually hates those places! We can also thoroughly recommend cocktails at Tommy Bahamas on 3rd Street, particularly after a romantic sunset walk on the beach. All in all, a great place for a relaxing, sun-drenched holiday.Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to write such a helpful review. I am sure it will show others the wide variety of things to do available within the locality of the house and the Naples area. We are so pleased that you were able to relax with your family at the house and we look forward to welcoming you all back to the house again in the future.
