  7-29-07 Marilyn & Jeff Robert wanted to leave at 4:00 a.m. so we missed saying good bye. I tried to reach you by telephone around 8 but no answer. We had a wonderful time! Thank you for making Casita de Chuparosa available to us and Jack and Princess. I feel so fortunate to have found you on the internet. The Casita is so charming, It is everything the internet promised and more! We enjoyed visiting with you Marilyn you give a warm and welcoming aire to the Casita! Although there is nothing lacking in that regard in the Casita itself! You have thought of it all and every bit of it. We hope to see you again next year. The white cliffs were great climbing for the kids-a good suggestion. We also ate at Walter's Place & really enjoyed it. We understand why you both like it. Thanks for a great stay! It is a rare thing to combine the wonders of this both invigorating and meditative landscape with such well conceived comfort and ease, and it is clear that you have created a very special place in this unique part of the world. We wish you both the best of luck here and are leaving this Limoncello as a token of our appreciation for your charming Casita abd our thanks for the sublime dinner at Walter's.   7-07-07 Lucky day! Jeff & Marilyn, The news says this is a lucky day. But it is our luck that this is our day to depart. What a pleasure this visit has been! Beautiful sunrises in the refreshing morning air. Not to mention our wonderful morning coffee chats with Jeff and the personal paper delivery from Marilyn. Relaxing or touring around-The days went too fast. Amazing sunsets and even a thunder & lightening storm (a free carwash!) Thank you for everything.   6/9/07 Thanks Jeff and Marilyn! What a fabulous place from the comfort of the Casita to the amazing starscapes just outside, not to mention the feeling of being in and near wilderness. We love the proximity to Ghost Ranch and to the O'Keeffe house and to Poshuoingue and the Plaza Blanca. We loved shopping in Santa Fe where we found beautiful jewelry. Thank you for recommending Pat's Casita for my son & his girlfriend (Now fiance) It was a perfect backdrop for his proposal of marriage! Chip, Cathy & Nathan

Your lovely Casita was everything we had eagerly anticipated and more. We loved every minute of our stay at Casita De Chuparosa - The unique comfort and visually stunning setting- coziness- enthusiastic welcome every day from Sam, Spicey & Maddie- The astonishing sunsets-we can't wait to come back! I spent an entire afternoon and evening on the back patio enjoying the change of light on the mesas and hills, and the ever changing sky. That alone added years to my life!   We have traveled many places for many years and we don't know anywhere that we have felt more welcome. Abiquiu has long been one of our favorite places and now we have even more reason to hurry back. You anticipated our every need before we knew we needed it.   Hi Marilyn & Jeff & pups! I thought of how cool it would be to have a collection of mugs from all of the places your guests come from-A history -in addition to the books. Couldn't get the Seattle Mug so here's a Monastery mug + some honey as a bit of gratitude fro sharing this wonderful retreat with me and Chula-You are good people with good energy! and that is what I will most remember of my stay here.   Dear Marilyn & Jeff- I can't remember when I've had a more enjoyable stay, The VIEWS are stupendous! Everywhere you look, There's something [retty or interesting, or fun. or intriguing to look at. I had ones of the best hikes I've ever experienced, A great nights sleep, great shower, excellent meals from your well stocked kitchen, I could go on but they're in a hurry.   Our family congregated in Abiquiu for a birthday celebration the first week of February. I honestly don't know which factor made this stay so memorable....was it the fabulous accommodations at Casita de Chuparosa (every detail was spectacular- comfortable beds, luxurious sheets, a wealth of informative magazines and books of the area, a stocked refrigerator for breakfast, DVD's of films shot in the area, thorough suggestions for places to hike....) Then of course the 360 degree vistas are breathtaking, the tranquil surroundings ensure rest and comfort. The hospitality of the owners is unparalleled. Jeff and Marilyn don't miss a trick- they deliberately attend to every individual’s needs, thus assuring that a stay at Casita de Chuparosa will be unforgettable. Jeff and Marilyn are in fact so welcoming that we have decided to be their neighbors in Abiquiu!!!!!!!

  Jeff and Marilyn---Ditto, everything Michelle said and Thank you for doing what you do and being who you are in Abiquiu, NM. For the well stocked luxurious Casita w/ fabulous linens (my vice and pet peeve) to the kind hospitality that drops off the paper every morning and bakes lavender shortbread to share! May we enjoy many weekends in each others company. Namaste! The highest good in me greets the highest good in you. Holly 1 or 2 suggestions- p.s. How about a non stick skillet and some larger coffee mugs? and some chamomile tea Thanks! (I'd have bought you some, if they had any at Bode's) p.s.   Casita de Chuparosa is just lovely,QUIET, comfortable and relaxing even with a 4 year old a dog! The monsoon rains didn't even deter our very special one night stay.The stars at night were unreal and pancakes in the early morning were wonderful. Thank you for making our stay very, very special.
