Villa MarCaribe is a beach front luxury villa on white sand beach, 6 bed rooms & 6 full baths, 5800 sf of luxury yet comfortable living space, on Soliman Bay, Mayan Riviera, 75 miles south of Cancun and 10 min. north of Tulum. Soliman Bay is enclosed by the reef, safe for snorkeling and a great variety of fish at the reef. You may encounter turtles, rays, and school of blue & yellow tangs. Or go kayaking in the blue, warm water. This well appointed villa can accomodate 12 people comfortably. Every room is air-conditioned and has a king size bed with its own full bath room.

2 master bed rooms: The master bedroom is on the beach side with its glass sliding doors inviting you out to the Caribbean sea below. It has a huge private bath with a large walk-in closet. The glass sliding doors allow the wonderful tropical breeze in your room. Balcony is elegant and the view is absolute gorgeous,].
2 garden rooms: To the right of a bright and airy foyer under the chandelier, there is a garden room downstairs with privacy. This beautiful, well-appointed bedroom is bright and airy looking out the massive windows. With a comfortable king size bed with wonderful oil paintings and double sink, private bath, this bedroom is very comfortable for any vacationer. You will love bath room with double sinks and the colorful colors of the Caribbean.
2 jungle rooms: Going up the stairs, you find a very large bedroom overlooking the gardens with a king size bed. It also has a lovely private bath with hand painted Mexican double sinks and Mexican tiles. The heavy rich wood bedroom furniture gives the room a very royal feeling.
The terrace/sun-deck on the rooftop is magnificent. This is where you can read your book in privacy or gather for great small talk among your group. At night, stargazing is amazing. The roof can be accessed only by staircase inside the villa. Here is where you have spectacular views on the entire bay and the jungle. Watch the sunrise and more importantly, the sunsets from here. Take your piña colada up and enjoy the magnificent views in all directions.
back down on the first floor, go through the arch into the living, dining and kitchen area. Here is where you can make your margaritas and enjoy watching the satellite TV. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need during your stay. You can also have Elena cook you breakfast or dinner for a fee. She used to be a chef. Dine inside on a great table overlooking the beach or on the terrace next to the pool, the choice is yours. This terrace by the pool is very large and covered for those needing a bit of shade. The pool has lounge chairs all around, along with footbaths to rinse your feet after coming up from the beach. On the beach there are more lounge chairs and hammocks to enjoy.
Villa MarCaribe is a duplex, 2 homes mirror image of each other, can be rented seperately as a 3 bed room villa, Casa Kristie and Casa Jihae, at "HALF" the price. Each house has 3 bed rooms and 3 full baths and a half bath with its own entrance.

Best to place to stock up for food and liquors.. Sams, Citi Clubs, Wal Mart, Soriana etc
Your final destination.. You have to pass the entrance, right in front of Oscar Y Lalo restaurant, and make a U-turn to come back to the entrance..

Luxury Rental on Pristine Solomon Bay

My family of 10 ranging in ages from 26 to 76 rented both sides of Villa MarCaribe for 4 nights. With 6 bedrooms and 6+ bathrooms, we were all afforded our own privacy, as well as, many common gathering areas. We tended to gather in the kitchen and livingroom on one side or on the large patios by the pool. This villa has air conditioned bedrooms and large windows and fans in the common areas to allow the sea breezes throughout the downstairs. We were greeted by the onsite caretakers, Elena and Pancho, who brought us delicious margaritas when we arrived. In the mornings we hiked around the ruins of Tulum, Coba, and Muyil. Our afternoons were spent shopping in Tulum, and snorkeling and kayaking in Soliman Bay, and then relaxing around the beautiful beachside pool or swinging in the hammocks under the beach palapas. One afternoon we went north to Akumal Bay (Turtle Bay) to check out the turtles in the bay. We were delighted with all of the sea life there! An afternoon downpour didn't deter us from having a fantastic time! Each evening we chose to use the large BBQ grill for our dinners. We shopped in Tulum at the Bodega which is actually a WalMart. The prices there were cheaper than at the San Francisco grocery store. Due to the make-up of our family, we didn't have Elena cook for our family. We really wanted to, but we have a lot of picky eaters and getting together one menu to appease everyone would have been impossible!!! Each of the kitchens both had plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. for us to cook, prepare, and store our meals in. We did eat out at Oscar Y Lola's and really can't recommend it. It had extremely high prices and the majority of my family didn't like their dishes. They did like eating lunch at Urge Taquito in Tulum. They absolutely loved the fish tacos. A word of warning though....their meats are all breaded and fried, but they were delicious. The villa has 2 kayaks with backrests, 1 without, and 2 paddle boats. The paddle boats were tried, but parked after a quick spin, too much work for a vacation!!! The villa has a large supply of life jackets and fins. We didn't see any masks. The coastline is covered with seashells so seashell hunting is a must! The bay is gorgeous on sunny days. Unfortunately we had a couple of rainy days, but we didn't let the rain stop us from snorkeling in the bay. All in all, this home was an awesome vacation rental. I couldn't be more pleased and would love to return.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We just rented Casa Kristie & Jihae-it was perfect for our large family group. The pics on the internet do not do it justice. It is comfortable, well equipped and appointed with lovely art work. The location is awesome! The pool, kayaks ,hammocks are great amenities . The caretakers are excellent and helpful. We would highly recommend this rental.It is exceptional!
