This lovely home is located a short walk from Grandview Beach in Leucadia, a funky surf town in San Diego’s beautiful North County. Explore Old Coast Hwy 101, where you'll find some great local restaurants, antiques and sea shells for sale, and plenty of surf shops. The Del Mar Racetrack is a short drive, and Legoland is minutes away. This is a great location for a summer vacation!
The beaches in Leucadia are up against the bluffs, and are reached via access stairs from the cliffs above. This house is close to the northernmost of the 3 public access stairs in Leucadia, at Grandview Beach.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is newly remodeled, with new kitchen and baths, and clean tile floors throughout. Sleep in comfort on top quality beds with the best linens. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, with every amenity that you might need to prepare a gourmet meal. There are 3 cable TVs with premium channels, DVD, and stereo. Bring your laptop, because high speed internet access (wireless) is available. The garage is full of beach toys: chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a kayak...all for your enjoyment.
The large private garden patio extends the living and entertaining space outside. Take an outside shower after the beach. Relax in the jacuzzi tub. On a warm summer evening, turn on the patio speakers, fire up the barbeque, and dine under the stars.

Thanks for providing such a wonderful place to call "home" for Thanksgiving. Property was even better than the virtual tour. Fully equipped kitchen, great appliances and lots of dishes; felt like Paul Dean! Beach house was VERY clean, comfortable beds and linens and "homey" feeling. The guys liked the sound system; but, I did get them to fry the turkey on the beautiful patio. Short walk to the beach every morning and every evening was so relaxing. Great sunsets. The owner answered all my questions before the arrival date, provided maps and directions, was accommodating and had everything written out in the welcome letter. I highly recommend staying in this lovely beach house. Thanks John. We will be back.

We are over the moon about this property. The owner is pleasant and accommodating and the house is EXACTLY as advertised. The house was spotless and there wasn't an amenity or an appliance missing that we wanted or needed. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back for another retreat and recharge week. Thanks so much!

We loved this house. My husband, son and I slept in the Master Bedroom and our niece slept in the 2nd room. There was plenty of room for all of us including 2 beautifully decorated bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked and far enough from the rooms that you can easily sit back, have a few drinks and share a good laugh without waking anyone (in our case a toddler). The hot tub was also set to the perfect temperature and we used it every night. And lastly the beach is so close. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes, if not less. We plan on staying here again. The layout is perfect for couples or a small family. The house is located on a very quiet street and Encinitas is the perfect beach community: not crowded, funky, clean and beautiful. The owner was so also so nice. Thanks John! We loved our stay.
