The provencal house, down a track off the Escalet road, sits in 3 acres of garden and vines and overlooks vineyards. The property is 2.5km from L'Escalet beach, 5km from Pampelonne beach and 10km from St Tropez. Because of its location coping with the St Tropez traffic is optional - all amenities can be found locally. The house, attractively furnished (the owners use it three months of the year) sleeps 8 in two twin and two double bedrooms each with its own bathroom. It has a good sized living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and verandas for socialising and dining on two sides, overlooking the pool, garden and vines. The pool is protected by a security fence. The property is known for being peaceful yet close to all the action of the area. The caretaking couple live in a seperate cottage hidden from the garden by walls. He maintains the garden, pool and verandas & she cleans the house 2 hours 6 days a week and does laundry weekly. They can advise on local amenities
Golf:: Golf is available at Beauvallon and Sainte Maxime, about half an hour's drive in reasonable traffic conditions. The beautiful Gassin Golf Club is about 3 km away.
There is a large size pitch for playing boules (boules provided) under the trees in a field below the house.
There are 6 loungers around the pool.
There is a dining terrace for 8-10 people overlooking the pool, garden and vines, and another terrace which seats up to 10 people on banquettes and chairs, looking towards the vineyards. A barbecue is built into dining terrace.
A small walled garden provides an ideal setting for a quiet meal or moment of peace, sheltered from the sun and wind.
There are fans provided for the bedrooms for very hot weather. Wheelchair access is possible for the ground floor. There is a 24' Sony TV with UK freeview by satellite and a DVD player

The location is ideal for the Saint Tropez peninsula, being close to the beaches, 2km from Ramatualle village, 5km from Gassin village, 10km from Saint Tropez itself and yet hidden in vineyards, not visible from any road. With a supermarket a short distance away and shops and a market in Ramatuelle it is never necessary to get into the heavy traffic on the main roads around Saint Tropez and Port Grimaud. Yet the property is close to Pampelonne and its beach clubs, the Golf de Gassin complex, Cap Camarat and the nature reserve along the coast including Cap Lardier and the unspoilt beach at Bastide Blanche.
