Soak in the hottub after a great day in Tahoe. This is the perfect getaway in the woods nestled under tall pines. Enjoy all Tahoe's many outdoor activities within minutes. Walk down the street to the trailhead and start a hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing adventure. The house is located one mile from the beach. Brockway Golf Course, Northstar Resort, fine restaurants, and North Shore casinos are all just minutes away.
Our house has a warm Tahoe cottage feel the moment you walk down the steps toward the front door. The cook in the family will enjoy the open floor plan and well-appointed kitchen. The sports fan will appreciate the flat screen TV in the living room with DVD player built in. We just installed new carpet in June 2012!
The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a second TV and DVD player. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and window seat. The third bedroom has two twin beds (one a trundle stored beneath the other), a TV, and a computer with internet access. The loft has two single futons. (Note that a sturdy built in ladder provides access to the loft.) There is a sofabed (double) in the living room. All linens are provided.
Enjoy a picnic on the large deck, cooking on the gas ignited, charcoal grill. Build a fire in the floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace and sit on the hearth with a cup of hot chocolate. Unwind and soothe those aching muscles in the hot tub. Or just enjoy the peace and quiet. Whatever you choose, you are sure to have a memorable vacation in this home.
Check in time is 4:00PM and check out time is 11:00AM. If the house is not booked directly before, or directly after your stay, the check-in and check out times are flexible. Please call for details.

About the owner: We live in the Bay Area. One of us is a native Californian and the other fell in love with the state as a 60's transplant.
Why the Owner Chose Kingswood Estates:
We've been coming to Tahoe for 30 years and have actually owned property previously in Incline Village. We fell in love with this property because of the location and the feeling of being both in the woods and close to civilization. We spend as much time as we can here but love to share with both family, friends and friends like you that we don't actually know.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We're outdoor people. The fact that we can start a fairly intense hike without driving anywhere or just amble up a trail at a relaxed pace with our dog really appealed to us. We can bike, kayak, snowshoe or cross country ski without having to load up the car and travel to start an adventure. We also like that we can relax in the hot tub and soak our weary bones if we over do it a bit or let the grand kids pretend they have their own swimming hole.
