This picture was taken looking straight out from our balcony! We have an honestly unobstructed view of the beach and ocean! This is why we chose this unit over all the others! No buildings or trees in front of us--and located in Casita Blanca, a well maintained medium sized complex (approx 20 units) with an excellent reputation in PM.
This is a spacious, fully A/C'd 2 BR, 2 full bath oceanfront condo. Sliding glass doors open to a large balcony. Our 2nd floor location offers you security and privacy. You can leave the windows and slider open when you go to the beach, town or to bed. Fall asleep listening to the ocean and feeling the breezes!
Wi-fi access over the entire property, so you can bring your laptop to stay in touch with your friends, family (or work!)
Retired professional chef has personally equipped the well appointed kitchen with gourmet quality utensils, cookware, and plenty of wine and other drinking glasses (and plastic ones for around the pool, too). The full kitchen has a hot and cold water dispenser, microwave, tiled countertops and much more.
Our furniture was chosen for your comfort and needs. We have a new recliner---not frequently seen in Mexico, and a dining room table that opens to easily fit 6 to 8 people since we love to cook.
We also have fine quality linens and towels (including plenty of beach towels and extra pillows).
Immense amount of closet space in both bedrooms, and in addition to a safe in the condo, we also have a locking cabinet for your larger valuables such as laptops or cameras.
Incredible amount of RECENT DVDs, CDs and books, covering every taste (at least 30 or more movies, and updated every 6 months).
We even have a Meade telescope for stargazing! Can be used manually or with the laptop attachments for locating constellations. And there are binoculars so you can watch the kitesurfers, sailboats, and even the cruise ships in the evening (leaving Cozumel)
Restaurant and local info books are also in the condo, and we have a renters' book with helpful input from others who have stayed here.
ABOUT CASITA BLANCA
8 blocks (12-15 minute walk, 8 minutes if you're a runner) north of the town square. Casita Blanca is WITHIN the town limits, so you can easily walk everywhere in town, and can get to town by the beach or the road. Beware of beachfront places advertised as being in Puerto, but then you will find you need a car to get to town. There are only 20 units in our complex, so it is never crowded, but we have enough owners who live here year round that you do not have to worry about finding you are in one of those creepy half vacant complexes when you arrive. Only 6 units have 2 bedrooms, and they all have 2 bathrooms, are all approximately the same size and design, so make sure you get a great view!
There is FREE secure WIFI throughout the complex--you can use your laptop anywhere on site!
Our managers are extremely congenial, gracious and speak English well. Roberto and Selene pride themselves in making sure your stay is hassle-free. We constantly get feedback about how helpful and friendly they are.
There are 6 palapas and plenty of loungers around the pool and on the beach, so you can have your choice of sun or shade (and no one does that "towel saving a spot" thing).
FREE kayaks for condo renters. Complex has a super size BBQ grill, too!
The condo pool is 22' x 30', which is plenty large for our size complex (maximum depth is 4 feet) with a convenient outdoor shower and foot bath pool so you can clean off the beach sand before you return to your condo or the pool.
There is even a kite surfing kiosk on the beach in the high season (and also randomly other times, so you can have free entertainment.
You can also have a massage and/or facial on the beach by our local masseuse, or take a short bus or cab ride to the "Jungle Spa" across the main road.
There is a laundry room (for a fee) in the complex--always in working order. Twice weekly maid service. Cable TV, unlimited purified water.
ABOUT PUERTO MORELOS:
Known for fishing and snorkeling/scuba. The reef is straight off the beach from our condo, and there are plenty of guide boats for tours (about $25 per person). If you hang a towel from our balcony, you can show people on your boat where you are staying--the reef is that close! You can even have the snorkeling boat pick you up right here! Needless to say, fishing is also great!
Also known for its many restaurants--ranging from casual to special occasion.
Puerto Morelos is best known for a laid back, relaxing vacation. It is also a great home base for day trips to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Xcaret, Tulum, Chichen Itza, and other Yucatan sites. There is an unbelievable availability of cabs and buses, so getting around is no problem.

Our first time in Puerto Morelos & Casita Blanca, loved them both, beach was awesome, view from balcony was awesome, condo was everything we could have wanted and more. This was our 7th vrbo rental we have stayed in,and the only one that the owner has made contact after we returned home to make sure everything was okay.Can't wait for May 2012.

Casita Blanca is the best! This is our 5th or 6th trip to Casita Blanca and by far the best condo we've ever stayed in....Even though there is just two of us, having the extra bedroom AND extra bathroom made it very easy....but more than that the location is ideal, the dvd collection for late nights was amazing...all in all a great stay! Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway (This review was submitted to another website--we cut and pasted it)

We stayed with another couple---so glad we decided to go with them instead of our usual all-inclusive vacation. The town is very manageable, even without a car, and Casita Blanca has a great set up looking over the pool and ocean. We had cocktails on the balcony at dusk and watched the cruise ships leaving Cozumel. We also saw the kite surfers several days (great photo-ops for us). The condo is a good size and well maintained, we had everything we needed to cook, etc. And there are really plenty of closets! The condo managers--Roberto and Selene--were wonderful, too. They were very helpful with our many questions and always were very congenial, even with our constant interuptions. We most definitely will go back, and will recommend this condo to our friends! So glad we tried this type of vacation this year--it was a wonderful experience! We felt like travelers instead of tourists.

We have stayed here for a week in June 2008, 2009, 2010 and have already booked 2011. You will not find anything better at anything near these rates. Great location on the beach and one of the best locations in the complex, the view from the balcony is perfect. The manager Roberto is there to help you with anything that you may need and the owners are easy to work with.

My wife & I and another couple recently spent a week in this unit & absolutely loved it. The description posted here by the owners describes it perfectly. Great location, about a 15 minute walk to town (or a $2 cab ride). Loved the beach in front, the nearby beach bar, the condo was perfect for two couples, and the manager Roberto couldn't be any more helpful. This is one of the few places we have stayed in the Riviera Maya that we will defintely come back to! Paul & Babs
