The Mountain Lake Inn is a place where you can come to relax and find peace in today’s hectic world. Take time to get up early in the morning and enjoy a sunrise or let the mist on the lake take your breath away.
Our cottages are all attached and look out on beautiful Lake Osceola. Each cottage has an open floor plan consisting of a bedroom, kitchen, living and dining room area with a separate bathroom. Some of the cottages connect to make a two bedroom two bathroom unit.
They are rustic, charming and romantic. Our eleven vintage camp retreat style cottages built in the 1930’s as a summer camp, surround the Leoni families summer residence.
The Main House is also available for rent during the winter, spring, fall and part of the summer. The family home boasts five bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and an open plan living, family and dining room with a gas log fireplace downstairs. A large porch with ceiling fans and rocking chairs has a magnificent view of Lake Osceola and is a perfect place to sit and relax. Please inquire about availability.
There is a 1.6 mile road following the shoreline to walk or explore around the lake. Don't forget your fishing pole as guests may fish in the lake as often as they wish, but a NC license is required. You can also swim in the lake or take advantage of the paddle boats and kayaks at no additional charge.
Being only minutes from Main Street in Hendersonville, you will be able to take advantage of all this charming historic town has to offer. Enjoy browsing our boutiques, antiquing or live music on Main Street. There are plenty of locally owned restaurants to choose from for your dining experience.
Give a friend or family a getaway gift for Christmas or any occasion. Gift certificates are available upon request. It is also a great place to book for a family reunion. We can accommodate up to 25 people (call for rates). Book three nights and get a fourth free. Limited time only.
Asheville, Brevard and Chimney Rock are all a short drive away.

June - August 2010 from $85 per evening
September 2010 all rooms $75 an evening. SPECIAL
October 2010 all rooms $89 an evening. Two night minimum.
We are closed for the winter and reopen the 1st of April 2011

Todd Leoni is the owner of the Mountain Lake Inn. I am in the real estate business and bought it as our family summer home and eventually plan to retire to the area. It is a very special place for me and my family and the home is a very cozy one that will make you feel like you are back in a slower life. Come stay at our little slice of heaven. Its like none other.
Why the Owner Chose Hendersonville
This Lake and property was the site of my old Summer Camp and always had a connection with the lake and property as a child as some of the best summers of my life were here and still are. The only difference is that now I am 30 years older and my children are enjoying it as well.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Staying at the Mountain Lake Inn makes you feel like you are far away from civilization. The Lake is viewable from just about every part of the property. Once around the lake is 1.6 miles. Downtown is less than 2 miles or a 3 minute drive to every convenience and amenity. Its the best of both worlds.

Cottages right on the lake. Very clean and comfortable. Lake is gorgeous and lots of fun to swim and play in. Had a great time, and would recommend this property to anyone!! I will be back!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.
