Just a short note to let you know how wonderful our stay at CCL was. It was our first introduction to Panama and a very memorable one. Your house is lovely. We used the kayaks often and did a lot of hiking around the Island. We tried paddle boarding, saw a sloth, collected beach glass at Hospital Point, ate fresh lobster, learned some spanish and partoook in the festival. Had a great day trip with captain Stoi to Coral Cayo where we snorkelled seeing the most beautiful coral ever.

3rd Time Around

Dear Rob and Kai, As you know, this was my 3rd visit to Casa Coco Loco. Our most recent visit was another surf trip with two friends. Before that, a family trip with my wife and two kids. We absolutely love it there. This last trip we found the new path to the point break which makes life so easy. A short walk and we are in the water. We surfed some new spots in the area, rented scooters for the day on Isla Colon and explored the coast roads over there, played a lot of games and logged some serious hammock time on the decks overlooking the water. Thanks again for such a great trip and I am looking forward to the next. Brandon

Dear Rob & Kai, Thank you SO much for the wonderful time we had at Casa Coco Loco. I was recently down there with two lifelong buddies on a surf trip and it was phenomenal. It was an easy 5 minute walk across the island to the point break, and water taxis were easy to grab from the dock for the other breaks. Post surf siestas in the hammock were as good as it gets. The surf was good almost the whole time, and the two small days were full of adventure. Scooter rentals on the big island, an awesome hike over to Red Frog Beach, and beer fueled dart tournaments in one of the local watering holes. The staff was great, the neighbors were wonderful, and the house was perfect. I'm sure we will come back with the families. Thanks again, Nate.

Dear Rob and Kai, We loved our stay in Bocas and loved your home. Casa Coco Loco is great. It could not have been better. I would not change a thing about the house. John and Anne were fantastic and I cannot say enough about how helpful, friendly and professional they were. John fixed everything that didn't work and Ann was a wonderful host and source of information. They are an excellent choice to watch over your home and help with the managment of your rentals. We would love to rent again some time. We will probably not build for a few more years. We may cross paths next vist if we come down in the winter. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and our friends. We look forward to meeting you. By the way the maid and Obelio are great also.

If you are looking for paradise...a place to kick back, relax in the hammock, read (or not), listen to the birds and the water softly lapping the shore below, watch the tropical sky turning pink and lavender and gold as the sun begins to set, you need look no further. CasaCocoLoco on quiet Carenero is artfully and tastefully appointed with local art and crafts and surrounded by tropical flowers and vegetation. You will want for nothing as Rob and Kai have stocked their slice of heaven with all the conveniences one could ever want and made it comfortable in every way. Will I return? Oh, yes! Can hardly wait!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Casa Coco Loco. The house itself is something out of a tropical dream, with huge balcolnies surrounding the entire raised-up platform where the main rooms are, views of the water from every room, hammocks to rock on, and your own private dock and yard with hundreds of coconut palms. It's quiet and relaxing, yet activities are just a short boat-ride away, and there's even a superb restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Jet off to go snorkeling, surfing, parasailing, fishing, or beach-hopping (even see where they filmed Survivor Allstars! Just a short boat trip away). There is easy access to the main island, where several supermarkets, restaurants, stores, and activity centers are. Casa Coco Loco had it all, and our time there was truly out-of-this-world. Looking forward to our next trip already!

I stayed at Casa Coco Loco recently and couldn't believe how much it felt like paradise. The hammocks on the second floor porch provide the most relaxing spot to read, nap, or watch the sun go down over the coast of the small Panamanian Island. Meals on the porch looking out at the sea, were spectacular. The spacious open living room and bedrooms are kept cool by the breeze and fans and decorated to match the atmosphere of the island. The mosquito netting, while there to provide good protection from infrequent pests of course, made me feel like a tropical princess. The backyard is I'm sure sprouting with palm trees, as the staff were hard at work planting 'cocos' (coconuts) in the expansive property behind the house. With lots of storage room on the bottom floor, we were able to keep our snorkels and flippers at an easy access when we wanted to grab them and take them on one of the boats that are docked at the house's dock only about 500 feet away from the house's entrance, and motor over to a good snorkeling area. My stay there was fantastic

Dear Rob and Kai- Thank you for an amazing stay on Isla Caraneros. Everything about our trip, from the surf to the hammock was beyond expectation. Every morning after breakfast we walked out to the point for a morning surf. I am still amazed at how few people surf that break!!! We surfed it for a week staight, three sessions a day, before ever looking for another break in the area. Between sessions, time was spent reading (or should I say napping) in the hammock, cruising Bocas Town and restaurants and exploring the other islands in the area. The mangroves were amazing. I couldn’t believe how calm and clear the water was. The life we all dream of! Having spent some time in Costa Rica surf towns in the past, I was amazed at how friendly the locals are in Bocas. The water taxi guys were a crack up and extremely friendly. We made good with “Denny” (one of the water taxis) who took us to some of the other breaks in the area each day. The “Cayucas” were an adventure in themselves. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house. I was so impressed with your place and the Bocas area as a whole, we have decided to come back for an extended stay next year. I would highly recommend Casa Coco Loco to anyone! Until next time…Hasta La Taco Paco! Sincerely, Brandon and The Crew

The week our family spent at Casa Coco Loco was a week in paradise. Nowhere else in our travels have we even come close to experiencing the unique combination of lovely comfort, exquisite tropical ?feel? and beauty, and wonderful adventure that Casa Coco Loco afforded us. The setting of the house ? right on the water?s edge, in the midst of lush tropical gardens, the glorious fragrances and feels of tropical air all around.? transported us instantly to a soothing, relaxing, and completely different world. The house itself is just lovely ? extremely comfortable, beautifully designed and decorated, and wonderfully open and airy. It is difficult to leave the wonderful hammock on the porch, complete with its spectacular view, to enjoy some of the marvelous adventures nearby. The snorkeling was fabulous, as were the exquisite pristine beaches, and gorgeous local flora and fauna. We loved strolling through the lovely town of Bocas, with its wonderful shops and restaurants, all run by friendly locals. A highlight of our trip was boating right up to the docks of local restaurants for fabulous sunset dinners. Bocas is truly an unspoiled tropical paradise, and staying at Casa Coco Loco allowed us to experience this magical place in lush and natural comfort.
