The house was very comfortable. The location was great, in walking distance of Belmont Shore and the beach. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet at night. We enjoyed the outside patio and were entertained by the wild parrots. The owner was responsive when contacted with a problem. The kitchen is beautiful and the open floor plan was perfect for a family get together. The bedrooms are comfortable and large. Our only recommendation for improvement would be a different shower controller in the upstairs bath. It was difficult to control the water temperature. Overall we were very pleased with house and very reasonably priced for the area.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

WOW - Loved it

We were just in Long Beach for the weekend and didn't want a hotel. This was the best vacation rental we ever stayed at (stayed at about 7 total in the U.S.). Anyway, this place was super clean and cozy. Our friends who live in the area said this is their favorite house in the area. The place was perfect on the inside and had enough stuff for an Army. I will book this place same time next year. Long Beach sure is a fun city. The Starling diner was really good for breakfast and just 2 blocks away.

Don't Go Near This One

You will be disappointed and frustrated. Dirty! No "office" as claimed, just a desk in one of the bedrooms. No" high speed DSL WIFI" as claimed, we got service for an hour or so at a time, it always said "connection weak or poor", completely unreliable. There were six bath towels and one hand towel and no wash cloths for six of us, owner brought over four more hand towels and wash clothes so we had to go buy some. No tea towels at all for the kitchen. There was one roll of toilet paper. Hardly any silverware and some pieces in the drawer were dirty as well as some bowls and pans. Light bulbs were burned out upon our arrival including on stair landing and the only light over the front door, when we complained the owner brought over bulbs for US to change! (My husband fell on the stairs). Air conditioning very lame and LOUD on the main level and controlled thermostat on the upstairs. The coin operated washer and dryer wouldn't have been so bad except that we had to keep washing towels. Coffee grounds were left in Espresso machine, someone's clothes left in a dresser, gum wrappers under couch. We were afraid to use anything, and couldn't leave to go elsewhere. Situated where the traffic noise doesn't stop. Bathroom on main level not convenient to the all upstairs bedrooms. No closet in one of the bedrooms so one couple had to come in and out of other's rooms for hanging clothes. Pictures on web site look good, and kitchen is pretty with modern appliances but the place nearly ruined our trip.

I stayed in this home in early June. I had the best time. Everything was clean, the location was great, and the beds were comfortable. I felt like I could have been at home! Thank you Renee for working with me on my budget and around my schedule. Will stay here again!

We were there for a wedding. The house was large and provisional, but few things made it less than ideal. Hardwood floors dusty, AC not optimal, and owner hadn't provided toilet paper, soap in bathrooms, or silverware (very distracting given our wedding emphasis). We ended up having to have friends bring these things from motels, ironically. Pets allowed is a nice feature and location was nice. Never saw owners.

Recommended for:Pet owners, families with young children.

GREAT house! Everything we needed was there, super clean and comfortable - and best of all - dog friendly (our dog thanks you)! The neighborhood is great - when we relocated to Long Beach we ended up buying a house a few blocks away! I'm now friends with "neighbors" I met while hanging out on your patio. Thank you.

Your home was fantastic. Stunning features throughout. My wife loved the bathrooms and Kitchen. The beach and shopping was so close. Great neighborhood. We will book it again next year.
