We have been offering our home to island visitors for 16 years. We now live on the island and by choosing our home for your visit to HHI, you can rest assured that we will be available to answer any questions or concerns that you have while here. We enjoy helping our guests make their vacation on Hilton Head Island a memorable experience.
The spacious 1350 sq. ft. floor plan includes a newly renovated living room with wet bar, large dining room, a fully-equipped custom kitchen with new appliances and a separate breakfast room with a desk for your laptop.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed (new mattress in 2010) and a view of the lagoon and golf course. The second bedroom has two twin-size beds. Both bedrooms have private baths and cable TV/VCRs. There is also a new queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, a LCD High Definition TV and a VCR/DVD Player.
Everything is on the first floor -- no stairs or spiral staircase to second bedroom. Bring your laptop - we have Wireless High Speed Internet service (secure with a security code).
Walk outside to your private patio and enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife. Just a few steps away is a beautiful pool overlooking the lagoon and the George Fazio golf course. The pool is conveniently close to the villa but far enough away for quiet privacy.
It is an easy walk or bike ride to Shelter Cove Harbor for fine, casual dining and great shopping. Enjoy the fireworks display and craft show Tuesday evenings during the summer season.
The FREE Palmetto Dunes Buggy service is available to all residents and guests. This service runs daily and transports guests to the beach, tennis center, golf course, restaurants, the Mall or Shelter Cove Harbor - all within Palmetto Dunes Resort - you can even arrange a pick-up right from our home. Ask us for details.
The ocean is just minutes away. Explore 3 miles of beach and the many pathways available in and around Palmetto Dunes Resort - bring your own bikes or rent from a location right in Palmetto Dunes - PD Outfitters - they also have canoes, kayaks and other beach equipment available for rent and rates are very reasonable - all new equipment. You can call the Dunes Buggy to pick you up at our home -- they will transport you to and from the PD Outfitters shop to rent bikes and boats.
Your choices are endless! You can relax on our beautiful private patio, golf, play tennis, fish, kayak or canoe on 11 miles of lagoons, swim in the ocean or pool, lie on the beach, dine at fantastic restaurants or shop til you drop! These are just a few of the many reasons our guests return to our home year after year. There is something for everyone on Hilton Head Island.

Why the Owner Chose St. Andrews Common
After spending vacations with our family on Hilton Head Island for over 25 years, we decided that this was were we wanted to spend our retirement years. When we walked into our villa 15 years ago and experienced the spectacular view from the windows, we knew we had found the right place for our dream. The views from our villa and patio are spectacular and its central location on the island is perfect. After spending the winters at the villa for the past four years, we decided to move to Hilton Head Island permanently in 2010. We are now enjoying being full time residents and are always available to those guests who stay at our villa for any additional information of assistance that they may require.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the quiet beauty of sitting on our patio looking out over the golf course and the wild life that is always present. The island is beautiful everywhere you look - it is green year round with flowers blooming every season. You can walk or ride bikes on the many paths throughout Palmetto Dunes and all over the island, enjoy a beautiful sunset at the beach, golf or play tennis at the many facilities available, eat at any one of the many restaurants or browse the unique shops all over the island. We are pleased that we have many returning guests who appreciate our home as much as we do.

We are the Carroll's originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. We have been coming to Hilton Head Island since the early 1980's and are now living our dream of being permanent residents on this beautiful island. We are still offering our "home away from home" for others to share and enjoy. We are constantly updating and remodeling the villa so that it continues to be a relaxing and beautiful location for everyone to enjoy. St. Andrews Common in our opinion is the most picturesque location within Palmetto Dunes.

The villa was as described, very clean and comfortable. Richard and Mary Lou were helpful and made it very clear they were always available if we needed anything or had any questions. The villa and L-shaped patio offers a wonderful view of the golf course. The villa, in St Andrews Common, is centrally located on the island, and offers easy access to many restaurants, shopping and groceries. It is very easy to access the beach by bike or car. We would highly recommend this villa to others.

A very well appointed, clean and comfortable villa. A private patio with a view that is so relaxing. It is all that the ad says it is and all that you would want in a vacation spot. Mary Lou is organized and efficient yet very personable and concerned about your stay. A winner all round.

My wife and I returned to the island after being away for about 8 years while our kids were finishing college and we were very pleased upon arriving at the villa as it was as advertised very clean and well maintained and with the villa being on the corner of the complex with a great view of the golf course it gave you the feeling of being private. The owners were very helpfull recommending things to do and places to eat. We especially liked the Sunrise Cafe for breakfast and Truffels for dinner. We would without reservation recommend this villa to family or friends,not only because of the villa being as nice as it was but because of how the owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

We highly recommend Mary Lou and Richard's condo. It was clean and full stocked with all the necessities: paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, laundry detergent, soap...even a bottle of wine! :) No need to bring much with you. Mary Lou made the reservation process easy and she kept me updated along the way. So much personal attention! The golf course views were beautiful....even with the alligator as our neighbor! We had beautiful September weather during our stay which made biking around the island ideal. A definite A+ experience. Thanks, Mary Lou and Richard!

We would highly recommend this beautiful condo to those considering coming to Hilton Head Island. My family absolutely loved the condo. It is nicely updated and very clean. The view of the lagoon and golf course is spectacular. We have stayed at numerous condos inside St. Andrews and feel that this is the nicest by far. The owners were very helpful with suggestions on restaurants on the island.

My husband and I along with our daughter and her family had a great week in Hilton Head. Although we have been coming to the island for over 30ty years, this was our first time staying at this condo and it was a great experience. Beautifully decorated, clean and very convenient to everything. The owners were so easy to work with and they have just about thought of everything to make your vacation experience a great one. The condo is as nice as it photos. Highly recommend staying here.

Your condo was like a little cottage in the woods. The small lagoon and view of the golf course added to the setting but the way your apartment was so well furnished, with everything one might need was especially appreciated. Some of the best seafood we had was bought at a fresh market and prepared on your George Foreman grill. We really like the Skull Creek Boathouse. We had a picnic table next to the dock and the food (Red Snapper and Salmon) was excellent. We also enjoyed breakfast at Sunset Cafe. And we learned that Robert Irvine's Restaurant has a Tuesday night 1/2 price special on Tapas. You really should call the week before you arrive for a reservation. Robert Irvine made his way from table to table and was very personable.

If you like warm sunshine, sandy beaches, and clean accommodations, this is the condo for you. This place puts you right in the middle of what Hilton Head Island has to offer. Very clean and serene, this condo has all the ammenities of home plus the views of a vacation. This is our 5th time renting this condo and would recommend to everyone. Hassle free, pool 500 feet away, nature everywhere you look, and the ocean 3/4 miles away. If you like golf, it's right outside the back door. A security entry door with combination lock so no keys to worry about(nice feature). Wireless internet worked great so we could sit on the patio and access the internet. Just minutes by car or bike to anywhere and anything. Don't pass this place up. Right on the ground floor for easy moving in and out. A pond out the back door with fountain makes relaxing a dream. Thanks Richard & Mary Lou for a wonderful vacation........AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
