"Le Rouge J'Amire...Le Vin, La Ville, `a al maison" (The Reds I love...Wine, City and Home) is a wonderful and charming place that everyone who has stayed here declares "this place is home".
There is a enormous kitchen that offers everything the choosey chef could need. It has all full size appliances which include: range/oven, Refrigerator and Freezer (with ice maker), dishwasher, disposal, and microwave/fume hood. The countertops and the floors are charming ceramic tile. Your toes will stay warm on the one of many antique oriental rugs.
In addition to the major appliances the kitchen is also stocked with coffee pot, toaster, Pot set, Knife Block, Flat and Dinnerware for 8, a variety of wine glasses, champagne flutes & martini glasses.
In this kitchen you will want to feel at home in Louisiana and take your inspiration from the "spicy" colored walls and stew up a "roux". All your Gumbo needs are stocked and ready.
The kitchen and dinning room are open to each other and provide a warm and welcoming entertaining area for family and friends to gather.
The dinning room table is set for four, and there are two additional chairs that can be brought into the spread. There is also seating for two at the adjacent bar area right beside to eat and enjoy.
The large living room has high ceilings and a warm atmosphere with one sofa, one loveseat, two channel back chairs, ottomans for propping up your feet or even for extra seating, ample throws to snuggle up with and catch a movie on TV or DVD player.
The Master Bedroom has lovely king size bed with luxury linens, tons of pillows, extra blankets, double night stands, lamps and alarm clocks, a 20" TV, sound machine, and ceiling fan. The master bedroom adjoins the master bathroom that has double vanities, a seperate water closet, large oval shaped jetted tub, stand alone oversized shower and has a large walk-in closet. Also there are all the linens and towels that you could need along with any toiletries you may have forgotten at home.
The guest bedroom offers a queen size bed, also with luxury linens, tons of pillows, high ceilings & fan. The lucky winner of this room also has a desk with a TV and walk-in closet, alarm clock, reading lamp, sound machine and private bath with tub/shower combination.
The laundry room is located adjacent to the kitchen and has a large capacity washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, detergent, starch etc. We've got you covered if clean laundry is needed.
There is a wonderful two car garage will keep you dry during those rainy April showers that seem to happen randomly all year long.
