Staying @ Robert & Patti's Moose Landing was a lovely experience. The place is more of a home with rustic-lux furnishings, like many in Big Sky, but they added a personal touch by being available all the time for any assistance we needed, for providing chocolate chip cookies upon arrival (!), and by being very well organized. Any issue we had was quickly and professionally resolved. We came with my sister, who is in a wheelchair, and since we travel with a 6-ft ramp, the first two steps at the front were not a problem at all. Robert even offered to get us a 8-ft ramp for my sister. The hallways are a little narrow to get to the master bedroom, so someone self-propelled in their wheelchair may have a bit of a time. But once you get to that room, it is really lovely. Also, we brought my sister down around the house to get her into the basement, so she could watch on the big screen. The beds are plush and we are all going to miss the pillows, maybe more than the moose (a drunken moose we thought, since she was having so much trouble getting out of the pond..). The only cons, and in some ways it's a pro, is that the house is right off of 191 and you can hear the cars going by frequently. And, sadly, you can't see the river from the house or gazebo. But! There's a great boardwalk that leads to the river, and they have a swinging chair for four out there. The sauna was great, especially when followed by a cold shower, and the hot tub, though it used chlorine instead of bromide, was great. All in all, this is a place I'd bring my family back to again. We were planning to stay two weeks even, but we had to change our plans and the owners were beyond flexible. Thanks Robert & Patti and good luck to you both.. -s & famRecommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The photos were exactly the way it was and more. Always a view every morning and great fishing, practically in the backyard. What a view in the back changes every morning. The deck by the bedroom is a great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and a nice hot tub soak after a day of hiking or fishing. We had many experiences with the wildlife in the backyard - every morning there was one or two Moose or Mule deere . We had a once in a lifetime one morning with a female moose. We named her Miltilda. The house was close to everything and Yellowstone about an hour drive and Bozeman about an hour, for supplies. In town, kind of pricey. Many good places to eat and so much to do.White Water rafting was great and horseback riding with dinner after was awesome. The owners had alot of info at the house about things to do and see . They were so nice and helpful!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What an awesome house to be in! We took our family of 8 here to sky and big sky. The location was perfect! The house was spacious and absolutely beautiful! Plenty of room for a big family. We saw a moose in our backyard the 2nd day, and deer several other days! We have stayed in alot of rentals, this house was absolutely superb and above the rest. We had everything (and more) than we needed and the owners, Robert and Patti were so helpful and delightful to work with. We will definetely rent from them again. We would highly recommend!! Cant wait to go back! You wont be sorry if you rent from them.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
