  I really liked the location, it was very central to the places and things we planned. The unit was beautiful and very clean. The owner was go great - we actually had to change our dates several times and she was so understanding and was easy to work with and contact. My daughters loved the toys and games that were available in the condo. I really liked that the decor was decorated like I do at home not the typical "beachy" light blue and yellow colors. We visited the candy store that is in walking distance and it is fantastic! We will definitely come back

  We arrived to find water running in the tub in one bathroom that could not be turned off and the toilet running in the other bathroom, wifi in a very limited area of the living room, LESS than desirable cleanliness, ancient TVs that sounded like Morse code when you got near them with a cell phone or iPad, a couch that was so uncomfortable that you felt the metal bars when you sat down......the first three days of our vacation was spent trying to remedy some of these issues and waiting on repair people to come and fix things. On Monday, "me know how me clean" showed up and spent 20 minutes sweeping the filthy carpet with a broom.........on Tuesday the Internet and the toilet were fixed and finally on Wednesday night the sound of silence-no more water running! I guess I should be appreciative of the "Thank You for your patience" note, a beach game (which we left in the unit), a remote controlled car for my grandson and an offer to spend a free night on her for a future trip, but NO THANKS Leesa. We won't be back even if the week was free. What you should have done is refunded us for at least one night of this miserable stay. Honestly, why would you remotely think we would come back to this condo? I would not recommend this condo for any of my friends and family.

  Owner response: It upsets me to know that a guest was not happy with my home. Please know that I made every effort to address any concerns and was not aware of any problems at the time. Once notified, the faucet & toilet were repaired ASAP. I didn't even know that the sofa was broken until reading the review but that has since been repaired. The Internet is provided by the building and I could not find any problem. After housekeeping returned, I PERSONALLY came and deep cleaned (bleached all bathrooms, outside and inside kitchen cabinets, all baseboards, all doors, etc.) the unit while the guests went on a pirate cruise. There is only a small area of carpet in the entire unit and I will be replacing with tile this fall. I will be replacing all TVs this fall as well. I appreciate the suggestion on this. Please know that I have had MANY great reviews and take feedback seriously because I want you to have a wonderful experience in our beautiful Destin home.

  Overall, we had an excellent stay. Sterling shores was wonderful! The grounds and the pools were perfectly kept. Everyone was very helpful with advise and directions. From our rental, we couldn't see the beach, just the water. That was no big deal, we just walked to the beach! Simple. The candy maker, the Back Porch,and a steak house, all within a very enjoyable walk. We will be back. We loved the fact that we were all close, yet had so much to do within the area.

  Had the best time at the Panama, and Destin condos, very clean, modern, did'nt want to come home. Love the ocean view. Plenty of activities to do, esp. with Austin, he loves both of your condos!!! Hey, it's time for us to get back there!!!! Went one time over my birthday, it was one of the best memories for my special day!!

  Our family stayed in this condo last summer and we loved it! Had a great view and easy access to the beach. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was an added bonus too. We will definately be back again!

  This was our first time to stay at Sterling Shores and we loved it! This condo is beautifully decorated with warm colors that really make you feel comfortable. Our son loved the amenities, including the boogie board from the condo! We loved the location-close to the pool, beach access and a fabulous restaurant-The Back Porch. The lower floor (3rd) is also a plus for shorter trips to the fun! The owner was very nice during the reservation process, especially on such short notice for our requested dates! We will certainly return to this property next year.

  We had the BEST time at your place in Destin. It was beautifully decorated, had lots of games, beach and pool toys too. The owner was great. I LOVE the location - it was perfect! We were so close to the beach and with the Back Porch right there too, it was very convenient to eat without having to pack up and go out. Will come back again and again. St. Louis
