Exuma Vacation Cottages: located away from the congestion, noise, crowding of George Town, and directly across from Moriah Harbour Cay, which has been designated a Bahamian National Park. Moriah Harbour Cay has miles of the most beautiful, pristine (and almost always deserted) beaches in the world. Between the Cay and your cottage are some of the best bonefishing flats in the Bahamas.
Next to Moriah Harbour Cay is Man O’ War Cay, which also has miles of beautiful, deserted beaches, with great shelling, snorkeling, and swimming. All of these activities are a short kayak ride away (your own kayak is included with your cottage rental). You can kayak through awesome mangrove channels, fish for yellowtail snapper,and bonefish or just relax and enjoy views that very few others can see and appreciate. At the end of the day, relax on your screened porch overlooking the ocean and Moriah Harbour Cay, or have a swim in our 40 foot fresh-water pool, and plan your next day’s activities.
Your onsite host, Valerie, has resided in Exuma since the 1960s. She can direct you to and assist you in: finding the best bonefish guide; getting to the "right" restaurant and finding island entertainment that you will enjoy; renting a car or boat; exploring the island from Little Exuma to Barraterre; finding secluded beaches; going snorkeling, diving and deep-sea fishing; shopping for the essentials and gifts for the folks at home. She can advise you about all aspects of your vacation experience - travel to and from Exuma, what to bring, what to expect, and how to make the most of your visit to this special place.

Winter Rates - $895.00 week(7 nights) 21st Dec.thru April - 2 people in cottage
Summer Rates - $795.00 week(7 nights) May 1st to Dec.20th - 2 people in cottage
For 3rd and 4th person in cottage, add $25.00 per person per night.
4 night minimum stay required. Winter $139.00 per night - Summer $125.00 per night
A $400 check deposit is required to reserve a Cottage.
No children under 12 years of age.

If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing, fun filled vacation this is the place. The water and beaches are stunning, and Valerie's kayaks can get you to places few ever see. We have been coming to Exuma for over 30 years and this is absolutely the best deal on the island.

It was just what I was looking for...Peace and quiet...nothing to do but to kayak, explore, walk the beaches, snorkle. I am hoping to get back this fall sometime.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We spent two wonderful weeks at the Exuma Cottages. Valerie, the owner, is always there to please and ensure your visit is a pleasant one. The cottages were incredibly clean, tidy and fully equipped. Their location is good to explore Little Exuma and the rest of Great Exuma. It was very convenient having the kayaks right at the dock, just a short walk from the cottages. The many areas within kayaking distance were awesome. The heated pool is just out the back door of the cottages. Morning and evening swims were delightful. Although not advertised, the snorkeling around the mangroves right near the dock is great. Plenty of bonefish flats are also within kayaking distance. We would definitely recommend these cottages if you want to get away from the large resorts.

Nice Small cottages.Stayed with 2 adults and 2 teens and had enough room to move around.Has a nice pool to relax by,and the grounds are very pretty with all the flowering bushes.Kayaks are a nice touch and can explore the flats and nearby beachs.Make sure you work with the tides, ask valerie for times. Good fishing off the ferry bridge,just ask the locals fishing off the bridge for tips.Georgetown is a bit of a drive and minns boat rentals are in town but you have to return them each day.You cant beat the price for what you get at Valeries cottages..

What fun! Lovely beaches, congenial host, and lots of love from the resident pups Bridge-it and Caspar. We've been visiting this magical island for more than 10 years . P.S. bring doggie treats :-) and lots of sunscreen. If you're a bridge player you can generally find a foursome to while away the evening hours, that's assuming you are still awake after all the hours fishing, or on the beach and in the sun.
