Beautiful newly furnished condo. where one can actually ski to and from the door leading into the living room. Crested Butte has a wide variety of ski slopes with an equal amount of beginner, intermediate, advanced, and double black diamond. In fact it has the most double black diamond runs accessible by lifts then any other area in the U.S.
Ski out the door to the base of the West Wall lift which accesses all of the other lifts. The West Wall lift is a short lift which takes you to a spot convenient to ski to the base and the ski school. Instruction available for snow boarding or skiing. A separate school for the children. During ski season free transportation on your request provided by the condominium to any where on the mountain and to the town of Crested Butte.
Try Crested Butte in the Summer. River rafting, floating the Gunnison River fishing for trout, premier mountain biking, hiking, picnicking, golfing or come in the fall, especially mid September-mid October for the fall colors.
Other activities: Sledding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, Ice fishing, kayaking, ballooning, horseback riding, shopping, and many fine restaurants.
Area: Crested Butte is located just 30 minutes north of Gunnison, Co. The town has been designated a Historical Site, and has maintained its old mining town atmosphere. Another important aspect of this mountain is the lack of waiting to get on a lift. You will get more skiing done in half a day then most areas all day. For any more info please call me.

Year Purchased: 1973
I am retired airline pilot. I flew for a major carrier for 35yrs. I grew up skiing in the Southern California Mts. I eventually skied all of the major ski areas in the us and Canada. When I decided I wanted a second home I spent two years checking out most of the ski areas in the U.S. When I visited Crested Butte I knew that was where I wanted property. I raised my two children and three grandchildren skiing here. Still when I visit other ski areas around the world I know that I chose the right place.

Hi Ben, I just wanted to tell you how much i enjoyed staying in your CB condo this summer. It was so comfortable and had everything i needed for a great getaway. I even called the front desk to see if it was available to rent for another few days ( i wasn't ready to return to the heat of New Orleans), but another long term renter was moving in as soon as i left! So here i am, back in the heat, missing the mountains and the wildflowers of Colorado... I would love to rent for another month next summer if you have availability. Thanks for the great rate and the great condo. stories! I could use a great Hawaii layover! Anyway, thanks again. Beth
