Upstairs, you'll find a spacious master bedroom with kingsize bed and full bath, a 2nd large bedroom with a king size bed and a 3rd bedroom featuring 2 single beds with an adjacent full bath. Downstairs, there is a youth den and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and full bath. The other is furnished with 2 twin beds.
This vintage - style cottage, also offers a breakfast bar and eat in kitchen with additional seatings off the great room and 2 decks on the ocean side of the house, which beckons you to chill out while drinking morning coffee of happy hour spirits watching beachcombers and the fascinating huge ships as they enter one of the largest harbors in the world......

We apologize for the inconvenience, but as a safety precaution, persons under the age of 21 ARE NOT PERMITTED on the UPPER DECK, without adult supervision. Also, no more than 8 persons can be on the upper deck at any single time. At NO TIME is anyone permitted on the railings or roof! This policy is strictly enforced and lease will be terminated immediately and all monies paid will forfeited if this important policy is disregarded. You can be seen clearly from the walkway, so we beg you to play it safe!
The housekeeping fee includes clean linens and bath towels. Don't forget your beach towels! Beach chairs come and go, but you are more than welcome to use what you find! Please leave the house in broom swept condition (there is a vacuum and broom provided). HINT: If you advise your family and guests to remove their shoes before entering the house, you will be a lot happier! Please ensure that the dishes, pots and pans are clean (or at least left running in the dishwasher) and the trash is removed and placed in the appropriate street receptacle. We will supply you with enough paper towels and TP to get your started, but you might want to plan a trip to the store the day after your arrival. There is information in the house about how to find things in VA Beach...
In that we are located in an area mostly inhabited by full time residents, we ask that our tenants be respectful of our neighbors and do not hold gatherings of more than 15 persons. We regret to say we prohibit family reunions, weddings and large gatherings, as we have had noise complaints in the past.

Although I was hesitant that this home would be a hike to the beach, it wasn't at all! In fact, it was the perfect spot with trees in the dunes right by the deck along with the ocean view. It was the best of both worlds with all sorts of birds around in the trees but also the dunes and ocean right there. The walk to the beach was easy on the board walk and took about 5 minutes total. The house is not a modern multimillion dollar mansion like those around it, but it is great for being able to relax and not worry about damaging something new. There was tons of space for everyone to spread out in the house and the beds were super comfortable. All around, we loved our stay especially because of the incredible views and location.Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind review.
