Close to the pool, lake, beach and clubhouse, our newly redecorated four-bedroom mountain home is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway or an extended family vacation--even with the extended family! With three levels of living space and three levels of decks on half an acre, there is plenty of room for everyone.
Comfortable sleeping for up to 14 people: Five queen sized beds in four bedrooms, double futon and convertible sofa in sleeping loft, and double futon in game room. Best of all, there are three full bathrooms!
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY: Towamensing Trails has a 190 acre lake with beach; pool; tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts; baseball field; and playground. During the summer, paddle boats can be rented. Fishing in the lake is allowed (fishing license required - lake is stocked). Private boats are permitted on the lake (no gas-powered boats).
*Owner provides beach passes for lake/pool access.
*Owner doesn't rent to anyone under the age of 25.

Ten of us decided to get away from the city slush and found a great escape in this property. The hot tub was warm and the owners left plenty of pamphlets and games around to let you know what to do in the area. The photos don't show it, but there is also a poker table if you like to play cards. This is definitely a rental property with the telltale signs like a few (not many!) marks on the walls around the pool table and newer, heavy traffic style rugs in a couple rooms, but I'd prefer that to all white furniture that we'd be paranoid to sit on and risk our security deposit. It's very close to everything and their renting agent, Prudential Fox, was fantastic. He answered his phone on the weekend, followed-up immediately and was very friendly. I would recommend this house and their agent to just about anyone looking for an escape.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
