  We stayed at this property over the 2012 Christmas holiday. Positive aspects of our stay included the following: 1) Central location for our excursions, 2) Gated community with full time security, 3) Nice clubhouse and facilities, 4) Newer furnishings and appliances, 5) Quiet surroundings, 6) Well stocked kitchen, 7) Open design with plenty of room for nine of us. Our disappointment came in the way the property had been maintained. The most troubling issue was the pool and hot tub. A big reason we chose this property was to have a heated pool for the kids and a hot tub for the adults. We paid the extra fee to have the heat turned on. However, throughout our stay we had trouble getting the hot tub to normal temperature. Also, the water levels in both basins kept declining. A maintenance man came out a couple times to help us with both problems, but fixing them the right way required a specialist and the problems largely remained until our departure. The trash situation was the second most troubling problem. By contract, the renter is to have two large garbage totes and a recyclables bin at their disposal. Upon arrival, there was only one large tote and it was nearly full from the previous guests. We addressed this with local management who sent a man out. He was only able to take a couple of bags out of the tote as the rest of the trash was unbagged. In a nutshell, we were forced to take repeated trips to the clubhouse with our own trash. Normal trash collection did not come until the day before we departed due to the holiday. We found cleanliness to fall short of what we have seen in similarly priced properties. For example, the back of a bathroom door was covered in human hair. There was mold on a window sill of one of the shower stalls and one of the provided towels had a chunk of lipstick stuck to it and smeared on. These are just three examples. Other more minor issues include several broken or malfunctioning items. The patio door slide was broken making the heavy door very loud to open and close. The patio light was not working making it difficult to grill at night. The nook was missing a chair leaving us one short. May, the owner, asked us for feedback upon our return home. We shared the above items and others asking at least for the return of our initial deposit and the extra pool fee. She returned just that, but no more. This could be a really nice place to stay with better local maintenance and management.

  Owner response: Hi Troy, I am very very sorry for the inconvenience. The pool water level was very low when you were there, and that was why the spa heating did not work as the jets were above the water and couldn't blow water bubble and heat the water. Our pool guy went to the house couple times and detected the pool leaking issue. But, the leaking repair needs special people to do and unfortunately the pool leaking detection company did not open during Christmas holiday times. We can't do anything at that moment but waiting. I am sorry that you did not use the spa, but the good part was that pool heating was working. I refunded all the pool/spa heating fee to you, not just partial spa heating fee. I asked the villa manager to take care of all the issues, but due to the holiday times, the handymen were very limited and they couldn't fix all the issues on time. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience. Now, I have a new dining sets with six chairs in the kitchen area, and all the issues you mentioned were all fixed right after New Year. As a remote owner, it is very hard for us to control the home situation on daily basis, but we are working hard to keep the house in a good standard.   We stayed in this home the last week of March, 2012. There were six adults and three children ages 4 to 7. The accommodations were great and it was very convenient to get to the theme parks. Our grand kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub as much as they did the theme parks. They looked forward to getting home each night and getting into their swim suits while the adults just looked forward to being able to relax in a comfortable setting. This was our first experience of renting a home. We will do it in the future and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again. May Li was very prompt with all of her emails. She contacted me immediately when I inquired about the reservation. Every time I emailed her, throughout the rental process, she responded in less than an hour. Great service! This was an experience enjoyed by all.

  The pictures do not do this property justice! Placed in a gated community, this house was very safe and great for multiple families! As you walk in, there is a bedroom with two single beds with a bathroom right off of it. The open floor plan includes a kitchen with everything you need to cook, nice granite counter tops, opened up to a dinette area, an eating area in the kitchen itself, and a large living room. Another bedroom off the living room houses another 2 single beds, and another bedroom has a queen size bed! 2 master suites have access to the pool! The pool and spa are visible from the living room, and there enclosed in a leni so that those Florida bugs can't get to you! A nice gas grill on the pool area came in handy! The house has lots of extra linens and towels, and the couch in the living room converts to a bed if needed. A washer and dryer are provided, and the game room will keep kids occupied for hours! We had people ranging from 90 years old to 6 years old, and all had a great time in the house! Privacy was available when you needed it, and yet plenty of room was available for congregating. The night security guard was not friendly when we first arrived, and I was unaware that you had to check in at the clubhouse before going to the house. The backyard has no fence- so you can see the neighbors. That is typical for Florida though - every house is like that in all the surrounding communities. All the restaurants, grocery stores, and discount souvinere stores are well within 2-5 minutes. Disney, Universal, Seaworld, and Midievil Times were only about 20 minutes away (lots of traffic)! Perfectly located! I would highly recommend this house! Wonderful time, the owner is great - responds quickly. Free breakfast, happy hour, etc at the clubhouse. Perfect for the large family, or families meeting and hoping to establish great memories!

  When you book something online there is always a little worry that things will not be as they seem. This was thankfully not the case. The house was beautiful, updated (open concept, granite counters etc.) and exactly as pictured. What a delight. We had a great time. The pool was lovely. The gated neighbourhood (Canadian spelling) gave a wonderful secure feeling. The people at the clubhouse were friendly and engaging. There was grocery shopping near by and all the attractions were a short highway drive. We would absolutely use this company again! Lindy Cellucci

  Hi May!! We had a wonderful time in Orlando. The neighborhood was great and so was the house. My family even got to see a vulture up close on the day that we arrived. I didn't know they were so prevalent in Florida. If we ever have a need for an Orlando home again, we'll check with you first.
