The Papakea Resort is located on 13 acres of beautifully manicured lawns, Koi ponds, foot bridges, and tropical landscaping.

This is one of the best locations on Maui. From your private lanai, enjoy an ever-changing ocean show of beautiful sunrises, sunsets and rainbows over the Maui waters. From the last of November to early May, enjoy seasonal whale watching. The beach is adjacent to the tropical grounds of the Papakea Resort. You will be foot steps away from great swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and relaxation. Just what the doctor ordered!!!

The Papakea Resort offers two pool cabanas each having their own adjoining jacuzzi. If you need a break from the water, walk the award-winning tropical gardens of the Papakea Resort. Alternatively, take advantage of the three complimentary on-site lighted tennis courts or test your skills at one of the two 12-hole putting greens. In addition, the Papakea Resort grounds are often used for weddings and memorial services. Take your pick of one of the 2 complimentary oceanside Cabanas - only requirement is a refundable cleaning deposit.

The living room, dining area and bedroom have been furnished with beautiful, designer quality furniture. The kitchen includes top-of-line cabinets, granite counters, and new appliances that include a refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker. Ceiling fans are provided in the master bedroom, guest bedroom and the living room. The master bedroom features a king-size bed. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and the living room sofa pulls out to a queen-size bed. All linens and towels are new. Also, a washer and dryer are available inside of the condo.

Grocery store, shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Just a short drive away, you can find many wonderful restaurants, shops and art galleries in Lahaina and the Whaler Village at Kaanapali.

  • This was our third year to stay in this condo and have already confirmed our stay for next year. The picture shown is exactly the view you get from the lanai or while you are in the kitchen. We love being the end condo on the 4th floor. We have stayed in other condos at Papakea's, but they cannot compare with this one. We feel so very lucky to have found this and plan to return every year as long as possible. The safety you feel while there is very important. We share this condo with our friends. We love going to the Farmer's Market, which is only about 2 blocks. Renting from Kathy has been a great experience-Keep up the good work. Mahalo

  • Your condo was beautiful. We stayed for 5 nights with 2 children and it was ideal. The view was wonderful at every time of the day. Due to a change in our trip we ended up staying in Maui for an extra 3 days but the condo was not available. We stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa which was nice but I would have prefered staying at Papakea. It was so peaceful. Thank you for opening your home to us.

  • We had a wonderful time in Maui in your beautiful condo! What a gorgeous view off of the lanai. I could even enjoy it from the Kitchen while making breakfast in the mornings. The condo was well equipped with everything we could possibly need, even boogie boards for our kids to use! We found that with the slats of the windows open in the master bedroom and the front room that the tradewinds blew right through. It was very pleasant!   • 60 of my closest friends and family traveled to Maui in celebration of my wedding on April 14, 2007. Approximately 35 of us stayed at Papakea and I would say out of all the units we had, this one was by far, the nicest. I would agree that at times it was a bit warm in the loft, but the breeze was great and I was thinking that air conditioning wouldn't have helped (due to humidity). We would definitely go back and stay in the same unit. We also found it helpful that the owners gave restaurant recommendations and let us know that the Cabana was available for our rehearsal dinner! Everything was great and we hope to go back soon!

The grounds were well kept and the grilling area was great.Close to the shopping accross the street.The unit was tastefully decorated.This was our 4th time to Maui and would return.We did experience humidity several nights and air conditioning would have been appreciated.Great resort,great unit,great time Aloha Bob

  • Just the perfect place! Plenty of room for 4 of us. All the amentities. A tremendous view of the sunsets over the ocean from the patio deck. We ate all of our meals from there! The gas grills next to the pool are fantastic. We definitely want to go back to the same unit next time!

  • We had a party of 4 at this wonderful property. The condo has recently been refurbished and is beautiful yet very comfortable. The view is amazing. One of our favorite things to do was to have our morning coffee on the Lanai and watch the ocean and feel the wonderful breeze. The general property is also wonderful for all ages and group size. Nice pools, beautiful beach, near a market and close to all the great shopping and restaurants but away from the crowds. Everyone was great and accomodating - we had a late flight and had no problem obtaining a later check out. I have stayed in Maui 5 times over the past 10 years in upscale hotels and condos and must say that I enjoyed this the most. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. Aloha and Maholo

    Our families 1st trip to Hawaii. A wonderful week. Accomodations were great (nice place). We were a part of history, experiencing a 6.6 earthquake. All was well and there was not any damage in our area. A restfull week. Hope to come back again soon.

    1st time here and it has been a blast. The downhill biking trip (sunrise) was awesome. Just beautiful. If you do the downhill biking down the volcano you really need to do the sunrise. Yes, you get up at 3 am but it so worth it. The Eco Tour for hiking was also worth it. Half through the hike we took a swim in the waterfall and water hole. Neat. Then a couple of local guys showed us where to go swimming also. Except they jumped off the waterfall and climbed the waterfalls. The Four Winds boat trip/snorkling with glass bottom boat was worth the trip. A lot of fun. The neat thing about some of the guided tours is that they tell you a little about Maui.
