We had such a great time! The condo is very nice. It is tastefully decorated with a seaside theme - which I enjoyed. The furnishings are nice and well put-together. It was clean, comfortable and homey. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer; and the kitchen was well supplied. It is a short walk to both the Gulf and the sound on either side. Of course, this land-locked family preferred the beautiful Gulf. The walk was never bothersome even with chairs, towels, beach toys, etc. The sugar-white, powdery "singing" sand was a delight for our daughter (5) and not at all an annoyance like larger grained sands tend to be. My son (11) enjoyed playing on his boogie board and snorkeling. We saw many dolphins! Right from the beach on both the Gulf and sound sides. They were pretty close early one morning on the Gulf side. We saw them from the pier, too, along with various schools of fish and big jelly fish. The pier costs $1/person unless you're going to fish. Then it's $7 (I think). We enjoyed the pier - seeing the wildlife, watching the fishermen, looking out to see. The fee is good for the whole day, so you can return multiple times throughout the day if you wish. During our stay, we went to Ft. Walton, Destin, and Pensacola beach. We enjoyed Pensacola beach. It was fun for a day. We also got to see the Blue Angels practice and then meet them afterwards in the Naval aviation museum (which is free and pretty neat). We also enjoyed the Gulfarium on Okaloosa island. And we did a dolphin tour in Destin. However, even with all that, Navarre Beach was our favorite. It is a quiet, beautiful island. There were no crowds while we were there. There were few people on the beach, so we kinda felt like we had it all to ourselves. And yet, when we did cross paths with others, it was pleasant every time. Navarre has a very peaceful, relaxed vibe. The beach isn't cluttered with restaurants and touristy places. There is Juana's which was a fun place to dine while watching a good game of volleyball. And their bakery - OH MY! We just LOVED Navarre Beach! We will be back, and we will will stay at this condo again! Vickie was a pleasure to deal with. She made everything so easy. Thank you, Vickie, for sharing your lovely vacation home with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Honeymoon getaway This property was absolutely beautiful. Everything was so clean, neat, fully-equipped and felt just like home and the master bedroom mattress slept like a dream. The unit is just across the street from the Gulf and it is in a very nice & quiet community. Vickie was especially nice and was always eager to answer any questions as this was the first time we've ever rented a condo. We will definitely be back!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind words about our place. It is a pleasure having guests like you who are so thoughtful and who take the time to write a review. We hope that you are able to come back to Navarre Beach. I can't wait to go back myself. Thanks again.

We stayed in this condo for Spring Break 2010. The owner was super, super nice and the transaction was a very easy one. The condo was very clean when we arrived and very cozy. It is stocked with everything needed to cook meals, pots & pans, coffee maker, toaster, clean fridge, and utensils. The bay is literally steps from the condo and the gulf is within walking distance (it took us 5 minutes to walk with 3 little ones and dragging a cooler and beach toys!) The property was very quiet and peaceful. The boys loved the colorful bunk bed covers and the bunks were very roomy. We will definitely stay again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
