The large second bedroom also has a queen size bed with sliders going to the outside porch
The home has plenty of parking, is located on an acre of fenced land, and is a great place to unwind after a day exploring Asheville or hiking nearby mountain trails. The grounds are full of organically grown fruit trees, nuts, berries and grapes. If you are visiting when they are ripe you are welcome to enjoy them.

The property was very clean and well-maintained... and decorated very nicely. We were a group of 6 people in Asheville for a wedding and had MORE than enough room plus couches for people to sleep. The location was convenient to downtown Asheville (a bit more than 5 mins perhaps) and served us well. The key-pad entry was an awesome alternative to passing a single key between 6 people. :) The owner, Marilyn, was extremely accommodating to us with a late check-out on the day of the wedding. We really appreciated her willingness to work with us. One thing to note is that the donkey does bray sometimes, which can be startling in the nighttime. I didn't notice a waste-bin in the bathroom, but other than that the house was FANTASTIC. Thanks again, Marilyn.Owner response: So happy you enjoyed your stay. We are always willing to work with our guests when we can.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It worked out well for our particular needs. Our son was able to easily get into the house with the ramp and the bathroom grab bar was helpful as well. You've done a nice job decorating and providing adequate kitchen items, etc. it was so easy to work with you as well.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
