We had a great time this past weekend. Our kids also really enjoyed the zip line...during the very little time they weren't skiing! We had a cozy fire going all weekend. The youngest kids (and the only girls) created their own little "fort" in the loft. The hot tub was also enjoyed. Great tubing on Sunday! Thanks so much!

Great House. The Kids LOVED the Zip line, the hot tub and the fabulous video collection. Great skiing, thanks to mother natures generous snow delivery! Good communication throughout the visit too! Thanks, we hope to be back.

Stayed the end of January with a total of 10 ladies for a "girls weekend." Everyone had a wonderful time!!! The house accommodated everyone comfortably and was well equipped and very clean. The Hot Tub was ready to go upon our arrival and we enjoyed nearly a foot of fresh snow for skiing and tubing. The group enjoyed skiing, tubing, hiking, and the spa. Everyone agreed we'll be planning another trip in the Fall.

We've had so many snowfalls this season and we were there for the December 19, 2009 30+ inches and the January and February snowfalls of 20+ inches. We will be skiing through March! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas vacation at Wintergreen and the house was just right for our whole family! The accomodations were comfortable and Scott made our stay so enjoyable by providing us with everything we needed! We also loved the fact that it was so close to the slopes! Great owner and a great vacation home!!

For those of you from out of town, Waynesboro is a shorter drive than Charlottesville and they also have Target, Super Wal-Mart for groceries. Devil's Backbone restaurant at the bottom of the mountain next to Ski-Barn is a Great place to have dinner.

I took my staff team of 8 to 134 Gum Tree for an offsite meeting and loved it so much that I returned with my family! The house was perfect for kids - foosball table, hot tub, zip line, secret hideaway, movies, and games. Great time. NOTE: Hottub takes a while to get HOT - turn it on when you first arrive!

It was a very rainy late Fall weekend, but our mini reunion was so relaxing in such a cozy house. We relaxed with a fire in the fireplace each night and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. The kitchen was very well stocked, including the crockpot that we used. The rain was over on Sunday when we had to leave. The Fall foliage from the mountain vistas was gorgeous.

A great house in a convenient, quiet location. Loved making s'mores on the deck, braving the zip line, and hiking from the backyard. The kids didn't want to leave! Thanks for making our first Wintergreen getaway so affordable and pleasant.

What a wonderful house tucked away on a quite cul-de-sac with the Wintergreen Hiking Trail just off the back of the property. We walked to the Black Rock Market, visited the Waterfalls down the trail. We also walked the the Mountain Inn and the outdoor pools. Did you know there is a pool about 100 yards from the back of the house? Unadvertised special treat. My kids walked there everyday safely through the wooded trail. The illuminated foosball table was a hit with my children. We really liked the divided house - the kids on the lower level didn't bother the parents upstairs. Thanks Scott!

My family stayed in this lovely mountain home in August. The children delighted in the lake and swimming pools. I recommend that anyone take advantage. I can imagine that it will be beautiful in the fall.

We've rented this house once in winter and once in summer. Highly recommend it! Owners do everything to make it wonderful and user friendly. Guest passes saved us LOTS of money!!

We rented the house for a couple days to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time. We enjoyed cooking out on the grill and taking walks around the area. The house is well-maintained, plenty of room and in a nice quiet location during this season of the year. The owners were helpful in getting this rental arranged for us at the last minute.

We had a great time at this rental in Wintergreen! It sleeps 10 people comfortably. It is close to the slopes and restaurants. We enjoyed the hit tub and zip line. We would love to come back and stay.

Our family Christmas at Wintergreen was everything we hoped. The weather permitted three days skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. When the warmer temperatures came we enjoyed hiking and biking. Even though our ages range from 4 to 74 everyone found something entertaining to do. The house was just great. Plenty of room for quiet conversations and lively games without conflict. We are already planning for a return.

The Lynch and Sheehan Thanksgiving gathering at your Wintergreen home was enjoyed by all. The highlight for me were the walks from various points that brought us back up the trail to the back of the house. Our 5 year old nephew loved the loft perch over the living room. For 2 days the weather was great for golfing and my husband played both courses. We spent one day in Charlottsville provisioning for the week and enjoying the UVA campus that has always been on my list of architectural sites to see. A few of us enjoyed a very placid trail ride and the young ones were thrilled with the pony ride and visit to the stable. For a group accustomed to life at sea level, the mountain views and ever changing skies were spectacular. We did lots of cooking and found the house very well equipped.

Delightful, cozy home! Loved the firepit, hottub, and convenience to the Mountain Inn and slopes. Loved the big windows to watch the snowfall and endless supply of firewood.

Our family and friends enjoyed this house. It was not to far from the slopes, some of the kids even walked. The downstairs was great for the teenagers with a rec room and bedrooms. The upstairs had 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very clean and well furnished. The sunrise was beautiful. We even used the guest passes and got discounted lift tickets even on Sat. It is a great place if you take kids.

We had a wonderful time skiing and the house is truly charming. We are big hikers and the trail just off the deck was inviting every day. The Sunset and Sunrise view was tremendous! Can't wait to visit again. Foosball table, puzzle table and Zip Line got a lot of use from our children. Thanks again!

This property is one of the best kept secrets in Wintergreen. Immaculately maintained, the s'mores are great on the deck. All the added amenities not mentioned by the hosts should be advertised! I understand the Zip Line through the woods can't be advertised, but it made this property a hit with my teenagers!
