Our mountain home is a three level contemporary house with 5000 square feet located 1.5 miles from downtown Breckenridge just steps away from a beautiful mountain and lake stocked for fishing. It is nestled in a lush green pine subdivision of Blue River, Colorado. The 1000 square foot master bedroom is located on the top floor. It has it's own gas fireplace, king size bed, queen futon, large walk-in closet and a huge master bathroom complete with double shower and soaking tub. The main floor has a large living room/family room which is open to a fully equipped kitchen. There are two dining areas and a bar which combined will seat 15. The family room has cathedral ceilings and a view of peak 10. The main floor also has two guestrooms that share a large Jack and Jill bathroon. One guestroom has a queen bed and the other a queen bed with twin bunks. The den is our 4th bedroom with a comfortable queen futon and shaded french doors. Just around the corner from the den is a the third full bathroom. Just off the family room is one of two decks with a new gas grill. This home also has a 2000 square foot semi-finished walk-out basement filled with foosball, air hockey and a pool table. From the basement, you can walk out onto the second deck which houses the hot-tub. The view of the stars is unubstructed and the tall pine trees sway in the breeze. We have spent many hours in the tub with the snow lightly falling on our noses. There is also a two car garage.
Breckenridge is a year round resort and just a one and a half hour drive from Denver, Colorado on an all weather interstate highway. Breckenridge is the closest destnation resort with Keystone, Copper Mountain, and A-Basin under 30 minutes and Vail and Beaver Creek are within 45 minutes from our home. Breckenridge sponsers musical events, Art Festivals and more during the year.
