We had great time in this house during our April Florida vacation. It's nice and comfortable, and way better than six people staying in the hotel for a week. We really enjoyed breakfasts by the pool and grilled fish in the evenings. The house is very cozy and there are a lot of things there that make you feel like at home. The owner was accommodating to our needs and we didn't have any problems with the security deposit. We enjoyed every day there and would love to stay there again.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

Good Location, Pleasant Stay

This house is pretty much as advertised. The property is in a good location for beach access and proximity to shopping and restaurants, and is well maintained. We had a pleasant stay and found the owner to be fair and responsive.

Decent property, but some serious security deposit issues with the owner

I would STRONGLY recommend you doing NO business here. The property was acceptable, but not in great shape. The pool was very dirty, pool chairs were broken etc. But that is not the issue. The issue is, after our stay, this owner withheld a large portion (almost 70%) of my security deposit without any specific detail or reason nor proof of damage. This is of course AFTER charging a cleaning fee up front. I am still kind of shocked at the brazen nature of this action. I have no recourse to get my money back. We are a respectful family, and would never treat someone else's property in a casual or damaging way. I know for a fact that the property was in the exact same condition as we found it, other than the usual dirty linens etc. So much for paying a cleaning fee up front right? I even went so far as to mop the floor before we left so no food particles would attract bugs. I am very disillusioned. This is the first time I have rented on VRBO and will obviously be my last. Very very angry and disappointed. I still have not seen any picture eveidence of the "major stains" that were supposedly left on the sofa, which we had covered with a sheet the whole time specifically so it would not get more dirty than it was when we found it. My faith in this system has been a little shaken. Please for you own good and pocketbook, I would strongly recommend not doing business with this owner.

Please send the damage deposit back top me at : Jay Lakritz Mequon, WI 53092 just referred your place to someone who is visiting Boca soon. Their name is The Maris. Even though I have emails and pictures of the disarray the house was left in, the renter states in his review that the property was left in order when he vacated. However, our findings were not as he described. We found pillows, towels, AC vent, and linens and unrolled toilet tissue strewn throughout the house. Photos could be provided if interested.

We had a wonderful stay at your house in Boca. We were with our son and his girlfriend, both 17 years old, and everyone enjoyed the house and vacation. Exactly as described, spacious, clean, comfortable, very quiet neighborhood and close to everything that is required: grocery stores, french bakery, malls, restaurants, beaches. Very nice installation outside, we were able to prepare BBQ and have lunch outside near the pool even in January! Thanks Gil, it was our first experience in house rental and you made it very easy. We will definitely keep your name and refer friends and family.

Couple who needed to get away

My wife and I needed to get away some where quiet but with all the amenities This house was perfect. The pictures on the web site don't do it justice This house is gorgeous open concept, and the pool area in the back yard is amazing We spent most of our time by the pool. The location of the house is only minutes away from everything you could possibly want to do, restaurants theater the beach grocery stores drug stores everything you need. We are definatly going to come back and stay again.

Clean & Comfortable

I spent 6 days here with a business partner. We really didn't have time to take in any sights, but found the house very clean and comfortable. I think it was actually better than the pictures (which is not often the case). Never actually got into the pool, but it looked nice and inviting as did the back yard. The owner, Gil, was very accomodating and easy to work with. The neighborhood is nice as are the neighbors, who saw us one morning and reminded us that it was trash day. Very sweet. I would feel very safe here if I were to return with my family. There are a number of restaurants, a Publix and other stores just around the corner - and there were even 2 bicycles at the home for our use! I did notice that it was only a block or so to the beach. Very easy and direct route to the 95 freeway (about 5 min) and the turnpike (about 10 min). I would recommend this home to anyone.

Very Clean & Comfortable House!!!

My Family stayed here 08/14-21/2011. What a WONDERFUL place to stay while moving our Son into FAU. The house looked just like the pictures online and VERY CLEAN. The beds were so comfortable and the living area was GREAT as well. We really enjoyed the pool and the patio in the back yard. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and even went on several walks. The house is in a very good location with grocery, restaurants, shops, beach only minutes away. We had an AWESOME week and Family memories were made!! Would DEFINITELY rent again!!!

Great Week with Adult Family

We had a very relaxing week in Boca. The home was very comfortable and exactly as advertised. Our party of six adults spent many hours by the pool and under the covered lanai. It was hard to break away to go to the beach which was very close by. Shopping, restaurants and everything else we needed were all very convenient. The kitchen allowed us to cook in on the nights we didn't go out to eat. Plenty of room in the fridge for food and adult beverages. There was plenty of room to eat inside but the weather was so beautiful we ate on the lanai when we didn't dine out. Popcorn and movie night was perfect on the two extremely comfortable leather couches. The air conditioning made for a comfortable day and an easy nights sleep. I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay.

Home away from Home but warmer.

Our family stayed in this home from 4/1/11 to 4/9/11 and was everything our family could have wanted. There was four adults and two teenagers and the space was prefect. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. What was great you could use the pool anytime you wanted no time limits like a hotel. We would rent this place again in a minute. I had talked to Gil many times and when we needed something fixed it was taking care of very fast.

We stayed there for the month of March and had a wonderful time. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. My mom is in a wheelchair and we had no real difficulties. I would absolutely stay there again.

We rented this charming home for over a month while our new home was refurbished. We enjoyed everything about it. The kitchen is fully equiped, the pool and yard are very well maintained and every thing worked perfectly especially the washer and dryer! It was neat and clean when we arrived and the land lord was kind enough to help return a laptop we had accidentally left there and we haddened even noticed it missing yet. A lovely home and we had a great experince there.

Our family with two small children had a wonderful stay at this home. The site was very accurate in the description. Our kids loved playing in the pool. Very close to the beach as well. We would definately recommend this listing to others with children. The owner was very accommodating prior to and during our stay.

The house is very well located, near the beach The house was very clean, comfortable the pool and the outside dining area were nice. Shops and Publix supermarket within 1 Mile. The house matches the description, lots of bed covers and beach towels as well as towels for the house, the king bed and one of the queen bed are excellent, the 3rd bed is better for a child. Free WIFI Internet access was nice to have, BBQ gas and charcoal, plenty dishes. We had a very nice one week stay at this house and I would recommend it to anyone who looks for something nice and affordable.

Very nice house near beach

The house is very well located, near the beach and state park. Easy access to the beach, free parking, if State park beach about 18$ a day. The house was very clean, very comfortable, open spaces, the garden the pool and the outside dining area were just perfect for our family. Shops and Publix supermarket within 1 Mile.
