Great place to get away. Enjoyed the cabin. The beach was great for the whole family (kids 7 and 11) and the dog. If your looking for a place to relax and spend time with the family this is a great choice. We had a great week and would stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I had an excellent week long vacation at Embden Pond. The Cabin was exactly as advertised and made for a very enjoyable week. We look forward to returning in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My husband and I rented this cabin for us and our 2 year old son the third week of August in 2010 and it was a wonderful experience. The owner had everything that you could think of that you would need from water toys to every last detail in the kitchen. The private beach is one that you don't find in a lot of properties, great for little kids and great for adults since you can light a fire at night and relax after a day in the sun. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a summer getaway, it is an amazing deal for the price.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.
