Pictures of this unit is the ACTUAL unit rented, no bait and switch-a-rooMie. Guests love this unit because of the great location...it sits on the sunset side of the building and has direct access to the beach from your lanai. Watch the sunset privately from your lanai or join other guests on the oceanfront patio to watch.

This fabulous ground level one bedroom unit has been completely gutted and remodeled. Walk out your lanai and in just about 20 steps you will have your toes in the gentle soft sand of beautiful Sugar Beach. You may choose to lounge in the oceanfront pool to catch some rays or sip your morning coffee on your lanai while watching whales go by. Either way you won't be disappointed.

There is also a great reef close by for snorkeling and swimming with the turtles. The evenings bring gorgeous sunsets right outside your door and you can walk for miles each way on our unpopulated beach just listening to the waves against the sand.

Inside you will find a bright new fully-equipped kitchen, a walk-in shower with glass blocks, a comfortable California-king bed, and a queen sofabed. For your comfort there is Air Conditioning, large ceiling fans, TV, DVD, telephone, linens, towels, FREE HS Internet. There is even a coin operated facility just outside your door. EXTRAS PROVIDED: Snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooloer etc. is also provided for your enjoyment.

You have easy access to all that Maui offers - shopping, golf, and great restaurants. Nearby Maalaea Harbor is a beautiful site for charter fishing boats, snorkeling, water-sports, the new Maui Ocean Center, and more. Watch the whales or see pods of playful dolphins in your back yard. Your drive to the airport is less than ten miles.

For your convenience, there is a small general store and sandwich shop next door or of course it is an easy drive to Safeway, Costco, and Wal-Mart.

We require a 25% deposit upon booking. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. If you cancel before your 60 day arrival you receive a full refund minus $150 administrative fee. WE RECOMMEND AND SELL TRAVEL INSURANCE.

  • Hi Sue, Sorry it has taken so long to sign the guestbook. This was absolutely the best place that my granddaughter and I could have picked for our time in Maui. It was exactly what was needed after the difficult time we had been through. The beach was perfect for both my granddaughter and I. The pool just steps away from the unit. The unit itself was perfect, there wasn't anything that I needed to go out and buy, other than food.. Sitting on the Lanai, morning, noon or night was just wonderful. It really couldn't have gotten any better than this. We hope to come back one day and enjoy this unit and the beach again. Wishing I was there right now. Everyone is so friendly in the whole complex.   • Date of Stay: Jan 4- Jan 10, 2009, Second time staying in this unit- A10 I am advertising you like CRAZY!!! Can't wait to come back! The beach is a step away from this cozy home away from home. I have stayed at Maui Sands twice and like the small complex (30 units), the beach being just steps from your door, quiet, centrally located on the coast of maui, and cleanliness of the complex and units. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Mahalo Sue!!!

  • Date of Stay: 4/13/08-4/23/08 Sue, We wanted to thank you for a great vacation. Put simply: we loved the room. It was clean with a great view from the lanai. Being just steps from the water with miles of beach to walk on in front of the condo, we were in heaven. Hawaii's main attraction to us is its beautiful natural scenery and your condo allowed us to enjoy it in a quiet and peaceful environment. While the location was comfortable and secluded, we were still close to stores and activities. Another thing we really liked was having a keyless entry. We never had to worry about carrying a key around and losing it. We had a wonderful time and we look forward to booking with you next year. Thanks, Bill and Denise Iverson
