My husband and I spent a week at this apartment in early November 2010. It is in the heart of the restaurant and entertainment district near Metro St. Michel. There are many appealing restaurants and pubs on your doorstep, and the attractions of the lovely 5th arrondisement are just a few minutes' walk away. Even though the apartment is located above a small restaurant on a street with busy foot traffic, it is very quiet, safe, and secure. The apartment overlooks a leafy courtyard on the back of the building. It is newly renovated, simply but comfortably furnished - and provided us with an excellent home base while we explored Paris on foot. Jean-Claude, the caretaker, is very helpful. It's a great place for experiencing Paris in style and on a budget. We would definitely stay here agin.

We stayed at the apartment on a very enjoyable eight day visit to Paris. Both my wife and I liked the convenient central location and its simplicity. The Notre Dame was under a ten minute walk away and the closest Metro was under a five minute walk away. The apartment is located on Rue de la Harpe which is quite lively in the evenings with a younger crowd, but inside the apartment is very peaceful. The only sound we heard was the Notre Dame's bells tolling. The apartment is quite spacious for two people and had all the essentials we needed and nothing that we didn't need.

This is a wonderful apartment, clean bright and quiet despite its location on a street lively with cafes. The location is great, walking distance to almost all of central Paris with 2 Metro stops close at hand. With many Farmers' Market nearby and the well-appointed kitchen, you can do as much cooking at home as you please. The apartment windows open to 2 interior courtyards providing excellent ventilation. The Parisian caretaker is a delightful man who was very welcoming and helpful. The beds are firm. The space was more than enough for my wife, myself and our 12-year-old. This was our first trip to Paris and we, of course, want to come back. We hope to stay here again if we do.

I only wish that we had booked your suite for a longer period of time. The location was superb, such that we walked to most sites we wanted to see and when transportation was needed, it was just around the corner and easy to figure it. Your suite was spacious and clean, The kitchen was modern and put to good use. Grocery stores were within a short and pleasant walk. Your internet hook up was a great asset. We enthusiastically recommended your suite to our aunt and uncle in their late 70's, but the dates they required were taken. We would rent your suite in a heartbeat and do recommend it to others travelling to Paris. Please thank Jean Claude for his patience and help, though he waited an hour longer for us due to our late flight. Thank you, Irena, for your help and spacious apartment that made our trip to Paris a most pleasant one!

This apartment is wonderfully located, making it an easy stop during a day of sightseeing. Both the Metro and RER are close by. The owners were great, providing knowledgeable insight to the area that had a positive impact on a stay in Paris. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and any questions were quickly answered. I would definitely stay here again!
