Within easy driving distance is the dramatic North Cascades National Park to the west and the rolling hills and orchards of Okanogan foothills to the east, this property is ideally situated for fun and relaxation. Spawning salmon, song birds, bald eagles, deer, towering Ponderosa pines, and waterside cottonwood trees will make your visit memorable. Table tennis can be played in the garage area or croquet and badminton on the lawn. The Valley averages 300 days of sunshine annually. For the active recreationalist, easy access to the Methow Valley Community Trail offers superb mountain bike and (during the winter)cross country ski opportunities.
The home features a living room with a gas fireplace and a dining area for family gatherings. A deck opens out to a large irrigated lawn. The kitchen is fully-equipped with modern appliances and utensils. There is a separate room for television viewing or quiet reading. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with queen-size beds, a bedroom with bunk beds, and a separate den with a futon. A large jetted tub is in the master bath. All rooms offer territorial views of the river or nearby foothills. Sorry, no pets.

We enjoyed our stay in this home very much. The house was large, comfortable, clean and spacious, and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. The kitchen was well equiped with all the dishes, appliances, utensils that you might need - making it very easy to prepare our meals. My only "complaint" is that the ski trails were just a bit farther down the road than we expected, but it was easy to load the kids into the car and park at the trailhead. Overall it was a wonderful vacation, and we would definitely stay again. Thanks Chris & Nancy.

This is a wonderful house on a wonderful piece of property. The house is spacious and well furnished with everything you could want on a vacation--but no clutter and utterly spotless. You can walk down the road and be on the Winthrop trail or spend another 15 minutes and be at Sun Mountain. It's quiet, quiet, quiet. I've been there both winter and summer and I can never decide which is better--but there's no place I'd rather get away from it all than here.

We have visited Winthrop more times than I can count and this is one place we will definitely stay again. The home was comfortable, beds were nice, lots of space for kids and adults alike. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and playing frisbee in the yard. With the trail access so close, we often went for a morning hike before starting our day. The home was clean and well maintained and Chris was prompt in answering all our questions.
