I rented the house with 4 other families and our young children for the weekend of Oct 5th 2007. Each bedroom had enough room for 2 adults and a pack n play for the infants. The house is very spacious and was in excellent condition when we arrived (clean and neat). Vaulted Cathedral Ceiling on the main floor makes the house feel very spacious. The master suite is HUGE. 3 bathrooms made it easy to accommodate everyone's morning routines. While the dining table might be a bit small to accomodate everyone who can stay in the house, a screened in porch and outdoor wrap-around deck provide additional seating and ample room for everyone. The houes is located within 2 miles of a convenience store and some nice restaurants. The lake is a nice 15 min walk or 2 min car ride away. The Kihles were excellent to deal with. They were prompt to respond to my inquiries prior to us renting the house and were readily available when I contacted them while we stayed in the house. They were timely in sending the lease, key, and returning the security deposit.

The house is modern, immaculate, convenient and HUGE! It is perfect for large family and friends gathering. The owners are also very hospitable. If you are looking for a place in Lake Harmony, this is it!

Great place! Tons of fun in the hot tub and the house is so big. Kids playing and early risers were no problem. Noise doesn't travel. Room enough for everyone to do their own thing. The view of Big Boulder and the lake were an added bonus. We're definitely going to stay here again.

Beautiful home very very spacious! The surroundings are spectacular. A quiet place for a retreat and close to all the local attractions. A great place for a getaway anytime of the year.

Our long weekend at the Kihles' "castle" in the mountains was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our winter!! This home is a HUGE, well-furnished, pristine space with windows that allow you to look out over wide expanses of lake and skiing slopes.... CLOSE by many eating and recreation facilities.... minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder, where some of us skied and "tubed"... had "take-out" pizza and other delectables delivered right to our door.... We observed HERDS of deer each day, usually at dusk, roaming right up to the bottom floor of the house and loaping through the properties alogside the roads ...too many good things here to mention...!!! We hated to leave at the end of our stay.... and will be sure to rent again from Lynda and Layne Kihle.....THANK YOU, LYNDA, for the use of your beautiful Pocono home...!!!

This is an awesome vacation home that's just loaded with amenities. Our large group was very comfy and the owners went out of their way to make our stay a great one. Highly recommend!
