We chose this condo (for 2 adults & 2 teens) after looking thoroughly through VRBO for the perfect place. We found it! It was very clean, well stocked and well maintained. Not having to bring our own sheets & blankets was wonderful. The wireless internet worked well. We chose this area because of its close proximity to Myrtle Beach. We got the peace & quiet of the suburbs while being close to everything. The description of the property was accurate, and it was the perfect place for us. We loved Broadway at the Beach & Barefoot Landing. We really utilized our GPS to look for great spots to visit. We also kept in touch with Kay via email, and she was very quick to respond. This unit is highly recommended. Kay was a pleasure to work with!

This condo was in excellent condition. We stayed for a week in April . The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utencils needed to make meals. Location was great. Had a very nice pool area which the kids loved. The beds were very comfortable. It was close to Oster Bay Golf course and Sunset Beach. This is a fantastic condo! This Condo exceeded my expectations! It was CLEAN, modern and very spacious. My son loved the convenience of the pool (indoor and outdoor pools available). The location was perfect and the people (other renters and owners) were very friendly. The condo had everything one would need for a relaxing stay. I plan on coming back again next year!

Stayed here for a week the middle of September. Have stayed at other units in this complex and this one is by far the best! We love the Sunset Beach aera and visited every summer for the last 10 years. This unit has everything you could possible need and more. We had a very minor injury that we needed a bandaid and there was even a first aid kit. It was clean, nice and great location. Hope to visit soon and often!

We vacationed at Sunset Beach this year, and chose this condo after finding the listing on VRBO. The description of the property was accurate, and it was the perfect place for us. Since we came after labor day, the area was very quiet. Not too many folks around. The pools and hot tub were very nice, and never crowded. It was very clean and well maintained. We found everything we needed to prepare meals. There are gorcery stores nearby. We used the pier parking pass a couple of times, but the free lot wasn't full when we were there. We had good luck fishing during our stay too. The elevator made loading and unloading easy. Wireless internet worked well. Location is close enough to Myrtle Beach to visit without a long drive. We went down a couple of times. Good seafood in Calabash, just a couple minutes away. The pizza at Tony's in Calabash was outstanding. We kept in touch with Kay via email, and she was very quick to respond to questions. This was for sure one of the more memorable vacations for us, and we'll be returning. Highly recommended.

Excellent Location and Value

We stayed the week of July 16, 2011. The condo appears new and all finishes and furnishings are of a higher quality than you would expect in a rental. The complex is quaint (in a good way), the pool right behind the building was nice, and having an elevator in the building was a nice surprise for moving in/out. Location is great for golf with Oyster Bay and Sea Trail right down the street. Also excellent for dining and shopping with Calabash right down the street the other way. The Aquasino in Little River is only 10 minutes away and worth the trip. Last but not least, you just can't beat Sunset Beach. Clean, wide and great tidal pools for the kids to play in. Super trip! What a relaxing, perfect vacation we just experienced at Sunset Beach! We were delighted at the clean, well stocked condo with a lovely decor! The fact that we had a choice of going to the beach just 2 miles away or swimming in the pool was an added luxury. My family is getting older now and it was so nice to be able to stay in a place that was a little quieter than the bustle of Myrtle Beach, yet close enough to have some night life if desired. I would recommend this condo in a heartbeat! Perfect!

We just returned from a week at Sunset beach and had a great experience. The Condo was top notch and fully stocked. I don't think I have ever had a better week of sleep than I had last week. Condo is situated a short drive from the beach and away from the hustle and congestion of Myrtle Beach, but close enough to drive if needed. The kids lived in the pool daily and enjoyed the beach. This is also a perfect place for a golf group as it's right next store to Oyster Bay Golf Links which is a top notch course and within a quick drive of a dozen golf courses.

Just got back this evening and had a wonderful time at Sunset Beach. The condo was beautiful and was equipped just like I was at home! It was very peaceful and I enjoyed relaxing and reading on the balcony. It's just a short drive from all the great restaurants in Calabash. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area. If you are looking for a great spot in Sunset Beach, you will not be disappointed. Located just minutes from the beach, this condo is A+. From start to finish, Kay is great to deal with and provides tons of good information. The condo is exactly as pictured - actually nicer. Clean, welcoming with personal touches everywhere. Very welcoming and well maintained. We've visited the area for years and stayed at many other places - this is by far the best. The beach pass is a really nice treat in the peak season! During our stay we emailed Kay with a question and she responded immediately. I cannot say enough good things. From the plush towels to everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, attention to detail is everywhere. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. It will be our top pick every time.

We enjoyed our week and found the unit and facilities to be in excellent condition! The decor is so tastefully done. The unit overlooks the pool which was convenient for our many "water adventures" with our grandson. The unit was clean and inviting and was filled with everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. The "welcome gifts" and note from the owner were much appreciated and a very special touch! We will definitely consider visiting again next summer!!

My wife and I spent a couple days at this awesome place over the summer. I have to say that it was an excellent experience for sure. We brought another married couple down with us to celebrate my wife's birthday, and all we could say was "I wish we could stay longer!" Kay is an amazing person to work with, and she always makes sure that everything is fair and to the tenant's liking. I will most definitely return!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Kay's condo. The place was beautiful and the complex was wonderful. The kids did not want to leave the pool area. The beach was only a minutes from the condo as well as other amenities. The entire area was not too crowded and easy to get around. Kay has a beautiful condo and I thank her for renting to us. The condo is very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The balcony overlooks the pool. The beach is just a short drive and Kay provides a parking pass which comes in handy. I would like to thank Kay for renting us her condo. I have rented at the Colony II for years and this is by far the best condo I have ever rented. She has fully stocked it with anything you would need. It is extremely clean and the decor is wonderful. The minute you walk thru the door you feel right at home. Second time at Kay's Condo, this condo is immaculate, comfortable and very well located. The pool is just outside and the beach(with parking pass provided by owner) is minutes away! The "Welcome" to the beach sand bucket and bottle of wine in fridge was such a nice thought. Hope to be back in the spring.

This place was fantastic! It was very comfortable and very clean. If you need something, it was there! Close to the beach and it overlooks the pool. We have two children-a 4 year old boy and 2 year old girl. Each had their own room. Sunset Beach is great if you want to be CLOSE to commercial Myrtle Beach, but not IN commercial beach.

I was so excited to find this condo. It was everything we wanted and more. I love the elevator as we have stayed in other units in this complex that don't have elevators. I really appreciated the parking pass. The keyless entry was great. The kitchen supplies were great. My teenagers loved the televisions in their own rooms. My 2 year old loved everything! Kay was amazing to deal with. I would highly recommend renting from Kay and staying at this condo!

I can't possibly agree more with all of the previous comments. It's everything promised and then some. Wonderful communication with Kay, and very nicely appointed. We traveled with a one year old and a 4 year old and the first night they felt comfortable and at home. You would be making the right choice if you want someplace quiet, relaxing and very clean!

We spent a month in Kay's condo and it was one of our best vacations ever. Kay supplies the condo with top of the line furniture and accessories. It's a very nice condo, it was a relax place to be for are vacation. My mother in law wants to say that she liked so much the decoration theme of the condo, (the sea). I agree with her. We had a very good time there and the beach is near and nice. It's a peacefull area. Thank you for the information of attractions and things to do in the area that you keep at the condo. The living room is so comfortable! We liked also the Jakosy and the inside pool! I hope that the condo will continue to receive gest and that we could come back one day, soon I hope.

Extremely clean and beautiful rental. Better than a Gold Crown Resort I once stayed at. Very high quality amenities like good towels and sheets, not the worn out stuff some rentals have. Sunset beach is much quieter than the other nearby beaches we went to. Indoor pool and outdoor pool were very nice too.

We stayed in Kay's lovely condo for 4 nights in September '07 and couldn't have dreamed of a nicer place. This was truly a "home away from home". Everything we could possibly need was already there for us. It's in a nice quiet location with easy access to Calabash and Myrtle Beach and some very fine golf courses and restaurants. I have never stayed at a beach condo that was as well equipped as my home...until now. My family and I spent a week in your unit in July and were amazed at how clean, beautiful, and well-appointed it was. You've thought of everything a vacationer could need or want. My kids loved sleeping in the "Sailors' Room" (room with twin beds). The pools were great and your close proximity to Calabash was a huge hit as well. The parking passes sure came in handy when we went to Sunset Beach. What a great idea to provide those! We will definitely be back. We're already checking our calendars to see when we can return. Your condo was one of the nicest and cleanet we have ever stayed in. We were there for 3 nights with our 3 children & thoroughly enjoyed it. This was also our first time staying at Sunset Beach. It was conveniently located to malls and restaurants but still secluded enough to be out of the hustle & bustle of the busier beaches. Will definitely rent again!

We loved our stay in Sunset Beach. Went down for "Bike Week" and had a great time. The condo was awesome, all the amenities you could ask for. My husband and I recently stayed at the condo with our three boys. We really enjoyed the three bedrooms! In the morning we would use the condo pool, come home to take naps, and go to the beach in the afternoon. It was really great to have a well equipped kitchen so that we did not have to take tired kids out to eat. We had some friends come by on Saturday and used the grill out back, the kids had a great time playing in the grassy area. The Condo was clean, had all the supplies we needed, and worked really well for our family. Thanks!!!

We just enjoyed a wonderful girls weekend at your condo. The condo is beautiful. The weather wasn't the greatest, so we spent a fair amount of time inside. The unit is very comfortable and home-like. The location is very convenient to many different things. During our stay we visited the beach, Calabash and N. Myrtle Beach. I love your condo! Everything was so clean and new and tastefully decorated, but not too much "stuff", so I was comfortable w/my grandkids there. They loved the outdoor pool and I loved the heated pool and spa! The location is great, near the beach but close enough to shopping and restaurants for easy access. The elevator really helps w/unloading. I love the quiet and peaceful area and the sunsets are special. I will be back!
