Big Pine Key is a perfect island for a Keys vacation. It has a laid-back, small town charm, but it has many convenient facilities: four restaurants, two hardware stores, a large Winn-Dixie supermarket and three Dive shops.

Big Pine is less than an hour from Key West, and close to Marathon. Natural attractions include Bahia Honda State Park with one of the nation's top beaches (about 15 minutes away)and Looe Key, one of the best reefs in the Keys. There is also a wreck to dive, The Adolphus Bush.

The house is located on a beautiful, wide canal and provides ample boat dockage to the ocean or to the bayside; it is the last house on the street (toward the ocean), and it is next to a vacant wooded lot. This location is private and quiet. There is a deck facing West which offers great views of the sunset.
