  This was our first visit to Costa Rica and we stayed here for 2 weeks March 15-28. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated with a gorgeous view of the ocean and mountains. It almost felt like home away from home. Plenty of birds to watch and identify as we sat having our breakfast or a drink in the evening on the balcony. We also saw howler monkeys and iguanas from the balcony (the owner has books and pamphlets that are very useful). Playa Conchal is about 15mins walk from the apartment. The warm, pristine, blue water of the ocean was great for swimming. Most of the time we were the only ones on this beach. We enjoyed walking along the beach to and from Playa Brasilito (40mins) meeting locals and tourists during the second week (school holidays leading to Easter celebrations). Brasilito has many beach side restuarants. Must try the local dishes esp. breakfast GalloPinto. The owner as well as Walner, the property manager and his team are very helpful and supportive. Walner helped us plan our trips. The all day Buena Vista Canopy Tour was just awesome. We did ziplining, horseback riding, waterslide and the mud bath/spa. Day trips to Playa Flamingo or Playa Tamarindo are all worth while. Best place to have a stress free vacation. We hope to be back soon.

  My family of 5 stayed here for the Christmas holiday. The condo complex is well maintained and peaceful. The condo itself is very clean, beautifully decorated, also well maintained and well stocked. We had everything we needed throughout our stay. We loved the location. We packed a lot into our visit and found this condo to be pretty equi-distant to all the activities (having a car is highly recommended). And, even better, it is very close to some fabulous beaches, which was nice to either start or end our day. Because we were so busy we didn't use the pool much, but when we did found it to be very clean and deep enough for our kids to enjoy their time in it. There's also a really nice shallow end for little ones. The property management company and staff were great - they took excellent care of us, answered all our questions and connected us with some fun activities. They definitely helped make our stay more enjoyable. We really hope to return to Costa Rica in the future, and to this property if we're able. Highly recommended!

  . Upon arriving at the condo we were astonished at the amenities. The full kitchen, 2 baths and spacious bedroooms were more than we had imagined. The decor was tasteful, there were books for identifying flora and fauna as well as a guide to activities both in our area and throughout the northern region. And the view? The forest, mountains and coast were each visible from our third story balcony. In the evenings and at night we would open up the windows so that the breeze could blow through and the sound of the Howler monkeys, geckos and crickets made it a remarkable experience for us. We were a short 10 minutes from the beach down one road and 30 minutes down another...walking. I got to run hills, beaches and dirt roads every day. We saw birds, monkeys, crabs and fish. While at the beach we experienced hermit crabs and saw fish and even a small Marlin. Because the condo was furnished with a full kitchen, we were able to purchase or find local food and fruits to cook gourmet meals! With such a centrally located place, day trips were easy. We went to Tamarindo, Playa Dantita and Playa Flamingo where we were able to experience a different piece of Costa Rica. The Happy Snapper restaurant was delicious! It was an amazing condo, well tended, great pool and with easy access to beaches, other sites and restaurants. We would highly recommend this location.

  My husband and I spent 11 glorious days in Costa Rica to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We loved this condo on the Guanacaste Coast! It was beautifully decorated, well appointed and very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck after a big day exploring and gazing at the ocean and mountain views. We saw and heard more wildlife near the condo than anywhere else! There was a family of Howler Monkeys in the trees, beautiful Mot Mot birds and crazy Coati (raccoon like). The beaches were spectacular and it was not unusual to be the only ones there. Our favorite beach was Playa Minas (turtle beach) with its white sand and crystal clear water. Renting a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended so that you can cruise off the beaten path and explore the surrounding areas.! There is an amazing beach road to Brasilito where you can enjoy some nightlife and great beach restaurants. My husband took surfing lessons in Playa Grande at Frijoles Locos and we loved the sunset catamaran cruise with The Lazy Lizard. One of the best beach bar/restaurants we have ever been to is called Lola's in nearby Playa Avellanas. We also went zip lining, snorkling and hiking. The Condor Condo was a great location for all our adventures and we didn't have to pack a lot of clothes because there was a washer/dryer. There was also a convenient grocery/liquor store if you wanted to stay back, relax and enjoy the view from the deck. We had an amazing time in Costa Rica and can't wait to explore the area again!

  This was our first vacation in Costa Rica and the stay at Playa Conchal was amazing. It was supposed to be the rainy season but it didn't rain very much while we were there. The facility was beautiful and had all the amenities of home. The condo is right next to a resort with a large pool that we were able to use during our stay. It is also very close to several beaches that we had almost totally to ourselves. We saw Igaunas, Gekos, Howler Monkeys and all types of birds during our stay. The view from the balcony is amazing! To wake up every day to the mountain and ocean views was fantastic. Walner and the ETS Management office were very helpfull during our stay. They set up trips for us to go on an ATV tour and a Full Day tour to the Rincon Volcano Park. We went horseback riding, slid down a 478 foot water slide, zip lining and spent some relaxing time at the spa. Our tour guide or "Partner" Goose was great and very accomodating. This was a great family vacation that we will remember for the rest of our lives!

  The Condo was spacious and beautifully decorated; very clean and well maintained. The views were unbelievably gorgeous. It was great to sit out on the deck and see and listen to the ocean and all the wildlife. The birds were of many varieties and fantastically colorful and of course the Howler Monkeys are unique and interesting to hear and watch. There are 3 white sand beaches within walking distance of the Condo that offer great swimming and awesome views. The pool at the Condo also offers fantastic views and a fun, cool, refreshing place to hang out and meet great people. We found the food in Costa Rica to be very good with a great variety. We tried several restaurants and found them all having excellent food, friendly staff and clean environments including the restaurants right by the Condo. Everyday the sun was shining and warm temperatures were to be found. The weather was fabulous. Hiking, horseback riding, ATVing and tours are readily available around the Condo. The management of the property was very helpful and ready to provide information and or services to fill all our requests. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and family.

  Beautiful and clean condo with stunning views. We had a great time sitting on the deck and listening to the monkeys and looking at the ocean. The condo was large and modern and in a location close to numerous pristine beaches. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. We hope to be back!

  The accomodations are just as advertised. Upon arrival Walner (property manager) was incredibly helpful, providing help with excursions and general information. The condo was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The balcony view was to die for and we spent lots of time out there reading, watching birds, monkeys and admiring the view. The condo is a short, pleasant walk to a beautiful beach (Playa Conchal) and a bit longer walk or short drive to Playa Minas, which is one of the nicest beaches we have ever encountered. We were there with our 6 year old son and all accomodations, especially the pool, were great for him. All the beaches close to the condo were well suited for children as the surf was calm. As a family we went on an ATV Tour and Zip Lining. Walner arranged for the ATV's to pick us up at the condo, we rode to the canopy tour, and ATV'd back. This was a very enjoyable family excursion and lots of fun. It's an easy one hour drive to the airport. The condo is a bit off of the beaten path, but that is one of the reasons we loved it so much. It's a short drive to the grocery store, restaurants and everything else and just far enough away to make you feel like you are "off the grid". We have stayed in many VRBO accomodations and we would highly recommend this property. We would do this same trip again. It was fantastic, thank you so much.

  Our week at the condo was truly like being in paradise, from the peacefulness of the place to the beauty of the beaches to the sounds of the wildlife (birds chirping and monkeys howling). The area offered a wide variety of things to do, from just sitting peacefully on the porch, to the thrill of ziplining thru the treetops. The condo itself was new and clean. The natives were extremely helpful and friendly. The whole Costa Rican adventure was full of excitement and new experiences that pushed our comfort levels, but was also relaxing and refreshed our body and minds.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: Adventure seekers will thrill at the full day tour which our property manager can organize for you. It includes Horseback Riding, Mud Baths, Rapelling, Zip Lines, Canopy tour, River Tubing and a very filling lunch. Otherwise soothe the soul by relaxing poolside at the condo or walking to one of the natural 5-star beaches nearby.
