Great vacation

We loved the closeness of this home to the temple, PCC, BYU-H and local beaches. Joe's seafood restaurant further North is worth eating at and were the shrimp places along the road. Foodland is very close and great selection of fruits, vegs, etc. We had 5 couples and it was fun to all be able to be together in the upstairs very large kitchen, dinning a and family room area and the newly added flat screen TV was nice but we can watch TV at home so this wasn't a big use item when you are surrounded by such polynesian beauty everywhere. The washer, dryer was a real plus and reduces the need to bring many clothes - just bring few clothes and a lot of money. The neighbors were so accomodating also and everyone in the North are lovely people. This is not Turtle Bay but it was so much more family friendly to be together. The master bedroom with bath was great for the "patriarch" and wife - the smaller beds in some of the bedrooms were a bit tight for large bodies - so get skinny before you come :-). Mahalo.

This is a great rental and I would recommend it anyone. A very clean, spacious home in a good quite location. The beach is within walking distance along with a cafe and a convenience store. The owner was very good to work with and made sure everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to Oahu and when I do, I'll stay here.

My first visit to Oahu and we did the best thing by renting a home. My family and I really enjoyed the home. It was very spacious and clean. The location (north shore) was quiet, beautiful and close to the beach. If I ever make it back to Oahu, I would rent this home again. It was very affordable...couldn't have stayed at any hotel for the price we paid for this home.

Owner response:Thanks for staying at our home Mer,

This was one of the best decisions I made when I stayed on the North Shore. I got married @ Turtle Bay Resort and had my groom's men & family stay with me in this beautiful, warm house. We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave. This property is well maintained and you will find it better than you expect. The owner definitely cares about the tenants of the property. I would defintiely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. The owner of the property is trustworhty, honest, understanding and you won't find a better landlord. Once you are done reading this, pick up the phone & get it because this property is hot and goes really fast.

Owner response:Abimbola, Thanks for the comments and especially thanks for staying at our home. I really appreciate the respect and care you and your guest showed while staying here. You are welcome back anytime. Thanks again Gerald

We were completely delighted with this very convenient house. All 10 of us had never stayed in anything but hotels or motels before. The house and location were perfect this including the neighborhood, and the price was right. We'd definitely come back.

We stayed in this vacation rental in Laie for almost 5 weeks and loved it. It was a perfect house for our 6 children, two spouses and two children. The beds are big, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms nice and we used the walk out balcony a lot to read and write, think. you could see the temple from here and you are up in the palm trees which was so nice. Air conditioned for August which is very very nice in Laie. So nice to be close to the temple, college and beaches. WE felt comfortable here and not uptight about having so many people in the house. It was perfect for our family and would stay there again sometime. Very nice. Love Laie anyway and to be right in the middle of it was so so nice.

I stayed here with my family of 13 and there was plenty of space for us. It is a clean (no cockroaches or spiders, etc) and well-maintained house. It is in a convenient location in Laie. We had a great time together, and having a nice house sure helped!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house in July 2009. The house was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The owner was very easy to work with and helped to create a positive rental experience. The house is close to BYU Hawaii, the Mormon temple, and some of the most beautiful beaches on earth. We had a very pleasant experience.

My family came and stayed in this house for a month. It was perfect. It is in a great location- close to the LDS temple, the beach and not far from BYU-Hawaii. It is a spacious house with plenty of room for people to sleep. It is clean and well- kept. Most importantly, the owner was GREAT to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in this house in June of 2008 with two other couples and 6 children. 12 of us in all. It was great. We loved it so much my wife and I went back and stayed in January of 2009. The place is clean and quiet. It is an easy walk to the beach. Every morning my wife and I would go for a walk along the beach. It was so peaceful. Far better than being in the crowds of the Honolulu area. We are alredy planning our next trip.

Thank You for allowing my family of 11 to stay in your house. It was in a perfect location for us as we were able to get anywhere on the island with little problems. The house itself was very nice and suited our needs wonderfully. The gentleman living next door (Mace) was very helpful and always there when we needed anything. He showed us how to open coconuts, made cookies for my 19 month old son and gave us tips on where to go and where not to go. He was a big part of our vacation being joyful. Everyone in the family has said that they would stay there again whenever we return to the island. Thank You again and can you please pass on a thank you to Mace from all of us.

Gerald, Thanks for being so helpful with all the arrangements in connection with our vacation to Laie. We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the beaches, snorkeling at pupakea, walking to Goat Island, the Polynesian Cultural Center, a reunion with our dear friends, the Logan, a visit to the temple, and many other acitivities that are only found in Hawaii. Our party appreciated the opportunity to stay in the lovely home that you made available to us. We could not have ask for anything more. On behalf of my daughter and her family of eight, and my son with his wife and ten month old baby, thank you so much! We tried to take care of the home while we were there. Your help, I'm sure found it completely used, but hopefully suitable cared for. And, please let me know if there is anything that was amiss for which we should be responsible. Again, thank you very much! Mahalo!! Allen Lowe PS Pics: My son, Jared, his wife, and child. My wife, Joanne.

awesome house in a awesome location. i loved how close it was to the NON tourist beaches i.e. temple beach, sharks cove, waimea bay etc. also it was not many tourist around compared to staying in waikiki. much easier to get around the island from this house you can avoid most of the high traffic areas. very close to the LDS temple, Polynesian culture center, kaloua ranch, north shore. i would recommend to others and would stay there again myself.
