Come relax and play in the East Sandia Mountains adjacent to Cibola National Forest (elevation 7000 feet), just fifteen minutes from Albuquerque.
Your home-away-from-home, totally private and comfortable. Three bedroom home with two baths and complete full self-sufficient kitchen with everything you need to cook. There is a large grocery store (Triangle) If you do not feel like cooking there are several restaurants within five minutes.
Albuquerque and all the big city has to offer is only fifteen minutes away, Santa Fe is only forty five minutes away via the historic scenic byway of the Turquoise trail, visit Madrid along the way, very quaint old mining town with lot's of art gallerys and shops.
Take a beautiful mountain forest drive on national scenic byway to the top of the mountain on the pretty side of the Sandias, Just twenty -thirty minute drive to 10678' and overlook down to the city of Albuquerque.
Skiing-Sandia ski area is only 15 minutes away.Santa fe one hour.
Golf- Play golf at Pakko ridge golf resort one of the top courses in the country, just ten minutes away.
Horseback Riding--"Come ride your cares away" Take a peaceful journey on horseback through the evergreen trees of the Sandia Mountains. One or two hour rides, or take a four hour ride to the waterfalls in the Cibola National Forest. Our horses at the stables are very gentle and great for first time riders. We match the horse to you and give a short starter basic riding lesson.
You don't have to ride horses to stay in the cottage. Or stay in the cottage to ride horses.
