Our rustic family cabin is located inside beautiful Kings Canyon National Park and close to Sequoia National Park and the Giant Forest as well. it is at an approximate elevation of 6500'.A 5 to 10 minute walk to "GRANT GROVE VILLAGE."

Wake up in the privacy of your own cabin and have your coffee out on the deck in the delicious mountain air.

The main cabin comfortably sleeps 4 with a fold-out couch for 2 additional person. Our cabin has everything: a complete kitchen & bath, a gas barbecue on the deck, and local telephone service , We advise that travelers bring a calling card for any long distance calls. We have a few movies available for the DVD/VHS player and you are welcome to bring your favorites. We also have a guest house that sleeps two with a complete bathroom but no cooking facility.

There is a restaurant, grocery store, and a visitor's center at Grant Grove Village within easy walking distance. "WiFi is available at Grant Grove Village".

The possibilities for day trips are endless. Hume Lake ,Cedar Grove and the Upper Kings River are close by our cabin. There are excellent hiking trails near by as well as the Nations Christmas Tree the General Grant - one of the largest trees in the world only 1 mile away.

  • Mountain View : A great location in the Park and to GRANT GROVE VILLAGE for local services , grocery store , restaurant , museum and more. only 1 mile from the General Grant Giant Redwood Tree.

  • Telephone : local calls are free however we suggest bringing a calling card for long distance , the home has no cell phone coverage.
• Suitability
  • No Pets Allowed : sorry , at this time we cannot accept pets , the only exception is horses that we have a large pasture for on our 5 acres
  • Kid Friendly : we encourage families with kids , but we ask that parents keep a watch on them for their safety , the home has a great yard for them to play in
  • Smoking Not Allowed : sorry , we cannot allow smoking in the home ..their are many people who travel with allergies and young children. Thank you for your understanding.
