The large lanai, which overlooks the lawn, pool, sandy beach and fishing pier, is perfect for relaxing and looking for "the green flash" as the sun sets behind Ni'ihau Island. The completely modern unit has been carefully furnished with island-style rattan and teak furniture and the walls and shelves exhibit Hawaiian artwork. In this home-away-from-home you experience off-the-beaten-path Hawaii in 21st century comfort. There is covered parking. Located on Kauai's sunny South Shore, you are within two short blocks from Waimea Town. Within the town you will find a movie theater showing first run films, various locally-owned restaurants, curio shops, a museum and two markets. On Saturday, visit the Sunshine market two miles west in Kekaha. The condominium is a stone's throw from Waimea Plantation Cottages, and from Waimea you begin the drive up the mountain to The Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the Kalalau Lookout and the cool and forested Kokee State Park.
