The casa offers a light and art-filled living room, well equipped kitchen, dining room which opens onto a lovely private patio, and two master bedrooms, each with queen size brass bed, TV with sitting area, fireplace, and full en-suite bath. In addition, there is a small(9X15) bedroom with a single bed and full bath.
Rates include daily maid service, although it is customary to tip the maid.
Robes and hairdryers are supplied.
The apartments offer a living room with TV, small kitchenette, full bath and a bedroom which sleeps two. A plant-filled patio and a palapa (covered patio) above it are available for guests’ use. Here, too, daily maid service and robes and hairdryer are supplied.
The apartments are not suitable for children.
We are in the center of the historic central district, a very short and level walk to the jardin in one direction, Juarez Park in the other, cafes, galleries, art and language schools,shops and even a cinema. Yet ours is a lovely, well-lit residential street. We are a non smoking house and do not accept pets.

Why the Owner Chose Centro Historico
Since we live in an isolated part of Cape Cod most of the year, when we chose to buy in San Miguel we wanted it to be our city home. Here we can walk to shops, galleries, restaurants, cinema and theatre and two parks.

Our home is large enought to accommodate friends and family. Often guests rent the Casa and one or both apts for a family event or reunions.
It is our joy to share the cultural, musical, fine art and craft wonders of San Miguel.
Owner's Map of Centro Historico
We, Marty and Lorraine, first came to San Miguel for a weekend many, many years ago and promised ourselves we would one day return. We did, and eventually purchased
La Ruina, which was indeed a 200 year old ruin. Together we designed and restored it, respecting government rules applying to the Historic Central district.
We are both artist, and enjoy the art scene as well as the cultural offerings that make San Miguel a unique place.
