I am a native of Montana. Over the years I've watched the valley change into a recreational paradise. As I got older I realized what wonderful and unique opportunities this area had to offer others. I decided to provide people with the ability to stay in a comfortable home with all amenities. Having this vacation rental has provided me a fantastic opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over and develop new and lasting friendships.

Our family stayed at Tamarack Tranquility for Christmas this year, and it was the BEST way to spend the holiday! The house is amazing and very comfortable (and VERY clean!) - the kitchen is fully stocked, the ping pong table was a hit with everyone and the hot tub was a fanstic way to round out the day after snowboarding at Big Mountain. The Stewarts' are great hosts and do everything to make your stay wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend Tamarck Tranquility and would love to return in any season.
Owner response:Thank you, Nadine for your posting. We truly appreaciate all our guest and hope that everyone will be able to return with the same or better experience than the time before.

Our family has stayed at this house multiple times. Dave and Brenda are the most accommodating, friendliest people around. This is a great property to stay at with pets, and a fantastic place to relax. Numerous nights have been spent playing cards outside, having fires in the pit, drinking wine. Days are spent at the lake or on the property relaxing with a good book, listening to nature, and watching the deer and other animals walk on by. The house is SPOTLESS every single time we come. We have spent years renting this property from Dave and Brenda and have never encountered a single problem. The homemade cinnamon buns and pies are always appreciated. If you want a fabulous vacation in a clean, well stocked and maintained home with gorgeous landscaping, with the friendliest hosts around, please stay here.

We stayed at the beautiful Columbia Falls home for 5 1/2 days and wanted to stay MUCH longer. The owners are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The house was beautifully clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one could possibly need. The towels and linens fresh and clean. The yard is beautiful with flowers, birds and wildlife and our dogs loved the "doggie yard". Needless to say, the hot tub was well used everyday. It's very close to the west entrance to Glacier Nat'l Park, to Whitefish, Kalispell, and about 45 min. to Flathead Lake. We had a glorious time and hope to return soon.

We came to Montana for our sons wedding and this property fit our every need. We had several nights entertaining and the kitchen and backyard worked perfectly. Brenda and Dave could not have been more gracious in offering anything we may have needed, including their patio table and chairs for one of our evenings. The location was perfect for our various trips to the grocery store, liquor store, salons etc and convient to Whitefish and site seeing. All of our out of town guests took advantage of Glacier National Park which was very easy to access. The property was very clean and every convience you could ever need. We would recommend this property very highly. The one thing you need to remember is the trains do go through Columbia Falls all day and night. I was aware of them, my husband was not...........:-)

Hi Dave and Brenda, We wanted to drop you a note letting you know what a pleasure it was for our family to stay at your home. You have a beautiful and extremely comfortable home and it was a great place to unwind with our kids. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hot tub was awesome! Unfortunately the week just flew by but we loved every minute of it. We would love to enjoy the winter experience soon hopefully. Thank you so much. Jacques and Mari

We just returned from a family vacation--us and our kids and grandkids and what a beautiful home and very helpful guests. We appreciated having a place we could eat and not have to take little ones out and the back yard and patio were so helpful for doing things with kids and adults alike. the house was so clean even the garage was spotless. The flowers and landscape was wonderful. It is a great way to see the sites and area. Our hosts treated us like special guests. thank you Dave and Brenda Terry and Linda Johnson

Guest: Nick and Emily Adams Date of Stay: July 5, 2007 Review Submitted: July 5, 2007 It has been a great privelege for our family to be your first guests. Your home is beautiful, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed using it as our base for exploring the entire area- such easy access to all areas! Our four girls Hannah, Olivia, Jessica and Tessa loved the hot tub. In addition, we loved sitting on your back pebble deck admiring the woods, your beautiful garden and the occassional deer! The girls will certainly miss the squirel who time after time threw down pine cones at them, much to their amusement. Many thanks for your kind hospitality and the use of your beautiful home. Guest: Steve and Diane1 (Vista, California) Date of Stay: July 5, 2007 Review Submitted: July 5, 2007 We had a long frive from San Diego, so we were happy to find your driveway. They we were delighted to see the two of you standing by the house, waving your greeting. The house was in pristine condition, and we very much appreciate all the extra things you did to make our stay a good experience. Although we had a large group (15) we were all comfortable. There was plenty for the little ones to do, and we appriciate the extra effort you made to make their stay fun. We have no reservations recommending your facility to anyone coming to this area to vacation.

Guest: John and Judy Rousseau Date of Stay: August 20, 2007 Review Submitted: August 20, 2007 Our week has flown by as it always does when we're together in a Fabulous place! We have all been humbled and awed by the incredible landscapes in this part of the country and would love to continue to explore what mother nature has left for us. Everyday has been something different but equally as spectacular as the day before. From the Long rumbling road to Kintla Lake, to the relaxing boat ride on Swift Current, to the 9 mile hike to Snyder Lake that almost did us in, to our drive through Bear Adventure, nothing disappointed... especially your wonderful home! It would be impossible to express our gratitude for you allowing us into your beautiful house. Everything was perfect from the beautiful grounds to the cozy inviting interior. Now we leave, we do so with heavy hearts but lots of memories to hold close forever. Thank you again for everthing.
