The Mahana is direct oceanfront, offering breathtaking views up and down Kaanapali Beach and across the gorgeous Pacific to the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Kaanapali Beach, voted number one by numerous travel groups, is one of the best places for water sports and activities in Hawaii. You may go to mauibeachvacation dot com and click in sunset top left for calendar and rates. Your stretch of this stunning beach offers uncrowded sunning, wonderful snorkeling, and is the perfect course for joggers. For more pictures of our Mahana Condo, the Mahana condominium complex and info including a virtual tour of our Mahana unit, please go to our personal website (link found below.)
When you first open the door to your fourth floor Mahana condominium, you are hit by a flood of ocean that fills the horizon up to shoulder level as you look out floor-to-ceiling windows. To the left is a stunning bathroom with a striking floating glass sink atop a luxurious granite counter. The other highlight of your Mahana Condo bathroom is the walk-in river rock shower with the charming palm tree etched on the glass shield. Outside the door of the Mahana condominium is ample storage for your suitcases and belongings.
The wall of windows in your Mahana studio showcases the panorama of the endless waves. During humpback whale season you can sit on your large lanai (or lie on your bed - no one can see you!) and feast on the natural show right in front of you with the Ocean only 38 feet from the Mahana condominium.
This Mahana unit has recently undergone an elegant renovation by a couple who intended to make it their home. Our Mahana condo features granite counters, custom tile, an extremely well-supplied and gorgeous kitchen including a micro-convection oven and all the modern conveniences, a 42 inch plasma flat screen TV, an exceptionally comfortable couch, a desk and chair, a washer and dryer, and remote control "mood" lighting. The queen Murphy bed gives the comfort of a regular bed while providing the living space normally found only in one bedroom units.
My husband, who doesn't slow down for rainbows or cloud formations, was absolutely spell-bound by the appearance of the moon splashing light into the unit about 4 am to 6 am during which he forced himself to stay awake as the moonlight cascaded across the ocean and into the unit. He said it was right out of the movie South Pacific. Sleeping on the other side of the bed my sleep was not disturbed as I stored energy for the most spectacular winter circus the next morning of whales parading - mother and babies, and sometimes huge herds - right in front of your Mahana unit.
The extremely private lanai of our Mahana condo gives you the sense that you are the only ones on the island, as you look through the mature palms which frame your view, but don't interrupt it, enjoying unsurpassed sunsets. This property is the closest to the water one would ever want to get, but you can literally sit in the fourth floor unit or lie on your bed, out of sight of anyone on the ground, with the door and curtains fully open, enjoying the crashing waves on the beach, right below your unit.
At the end of a quiet road, The Mahana offers a serenity not found in the frenetic hotels at the other end of Kaanapali Beach and yet it is still convenient to extraordinary dining and shopping. For more details and a virtual tour of our Mahana Studio Condominium, please go to our personal website.
Our luxury rental condominium is the perfect location to attend the Mercedes Golf Tournament held annually at the Kapalua Resort on the Plantation Golf Course. The Mahana Maui vacation rental condo is located just a few minutes short drive from the Lahaina Civic Center where the NCAA Maui Invitational Basketball Tournament is played over Thanksgiving week.

Mahalo! Thank you so much! I am filled with gratitude as I say Aloha to this paradise! Our stay was five stars! The studio is clean, well-stocked and has a great view. The fabulous waves crashing, top notch snorkeling, hiking Haleakala and walking the beach – who-ee Maui! I had the time of my life living Aloha. Love the grills for fish from the fish market! Try the Mahi fish and chips at Duke’s. Mahalo and Aloha! Thanks, Sue! ~Lynnel, Texarkana, TX

This property definitely exceeded my expectations! It is even better than the pictures depict. The ocean is directly in front of you and the 4th floor was high enough up that we could leave the sliding glass door open at night and listen to the relaxing sounds of the surf while watching the moon on the water from our bed. We watched sunsets, whales and turtles from the lanai. The property is very clean and Sue has thought of all the nice little extra touches such as beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, books on Maui etc. Plus there is everything you need for cooking. The condo has a great barbecue area as well, so we rarely had to dine out... a great savings. Sue was very easy to work with, and I found myself wishing I knew her in person. I was totally impressed... definitely book this place (just hopefully not when I want to rent it again)

What a nice place to stay – it has everything a person needs. This was our first time here and we hate to leave. The weather was great - no rain and temps in the 80’s everyday. Got more sun than we should have, but that’s what it’s all about. Thank you so much

Beautiful place to stay. We watched whales breach while drinking coffee in the morning. The place was great and close to everything but far enough away from the crowds. We hate to leave and go back to the cold. Aloha. ~Dan & Val, Seward, Alaska

What a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon! When we walked in we were amazed, awed and thrilled to be able to call this “home” for a week. It was beautifully decorated, furnished with all the necessities and in a great location. It was our first time here, but it definitely won’t be our last.

What a beautiful place to stay for a mother/daughter getaway. The condo was so nicely furnished and the bed was super comfortable! I cooked Christmas dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. We saw many dolphins and whales playing while we relaxed on the lanai. Thanks for having binoculars for us. This was a perfect stay and I can't wait to return.
